Although fall has changed into winter quite a few months ago already, there’s still enough reasons to work with the gorgeous Walking in the Forest collection. This collection has beautiful warm colours, nice patterns and of course also some lovely details that are perfect for fussy cutting. Today I will show you a tag that I made with this lovely range of papers.

Thank You tagWhen working on this tag I started off with the ‘Die-Cut Sheet’. These cut-out sheets are just perfect for cardmakers. They make it so easy to whip up a card in no time at all. On my card the the postcard piece and the butterflies were cut out from this sheet. The robin is part of the ‘Birdsong’ paper.

Thank You detailI used foamtape to make the robin stand out a little more on my tag and slightly folded the wings of the butterflies to make it look like they are really flying off my tag. Maja Design has such wonderful high quality papers. Their papers are really thick, which makes it easy to layer or fold the images that you have cut out.

-----Supplies:

Maja Design: papers (Walking in the Forest: Birdsong, Die-Cut Sheet, Die-Cut Sheet bs, Knitted sweather, When leaves are…), Tim Holtz: tag die, Martha Stewart: punches, Bo Bunny: rub-on sentiment, Webster’s Pages: sparkler, Other: seambinding

Thank you so much for your visit!
