It might not be a secret that pink is one of my favourite colours to work with. So I was really excited when I saw the February moodboard, which has some lovely pink and lilac tones in it. I decided to make a lay-out with the gorgeous ‘Vintage Summer Basics‘ collection about myself. Last month I made a lay-out about my brothers with the blue and grey papers from this collection and my parents told me they would like to have a lay-out about me to hang next to it.

RomyI did a lot of layering on my lay-out. I first distressed the edges of all the papers and them slightly distressed them with my hands to make the different sheets of paper stand out a little more. I used quite a lot of squares and rectangulars on my lay-out, so I decided to incorporate a doily as a circular touch on my lay-out.

I teared one of the corners of the paper and tucked a piece of lace and a doily behind it. The stars are also cut out with my Big Shot from a sheet of white cardstock. I thought they made a nice elegant touch on my lay-out.
