Hello, I am here to share with you a LO I did using the Beautiful,Walking in the Forest Collection. The photo is of my oldest son Sigurdur. I used Kelly Klapsteins, Double the Fun Sketch from Canadian Scrapbooker Mag, it has been a very long time since I did a double LO…..
From this Collection I used, Mountain Ash BS, When Leaves are Falling,Maple,Last Flowers BS, Knitted Sweater, Die Cut Letters BS, Die Cut Sheets & lots of the BS of the labels. The Chipboard is from Scrap Fx. Here is a closeup of the first page…..
I did my usual distressing, but I also inked all the edges with Tattered Angels Chalkboard (Decadence) using a paint brush…..
I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo on the Cogs & Circle, then inked the edges. I then glued the cog on to a piece of paper & applied a thick coat of rock candy crackle, & when that dried I used a paint brush & applied some TA Chalkboard (decadence to bring out the cracks. I used Tim Holtz adirondack alcohol ink (sunset orange) on the steampunk clock face & leaves. I also applied rock candy crackle on to the leaves & when that dried I played with different colors of chalk to get the color I wanted……
I used vintage photo stain & tattered angels decadence on the frame, then glued on some jb selections metallic gunmetal beads,I also used vintage photo stain on the seaweed stem….
Shows some of my hand stitching & a pocket holding journaling tags….
The bottom photo is where I put my Title (Autumn). I first stained it with vintage photo stain, then I applied crackle, & when that dried I rubbed in different shades of brown & inked the edges. I also watered down vintage photo stain and applied it to all the paper to deepen the color….
Thank you so much for taking the time to look…..Rachelle
