Today’s project is a very special little care pack, for my scrappy soul-mate. We love all the same colors, admire the same beautiful old things, and love using all the same goody bits in our papercrafting. I can’t tell you what a such a joy to have someone to share your loves with.

She also happens to be a total sweetheart. A friend I wish I could meet in person one day. We are separated by many miles, and for now, we rely on emails and a few comments here and there, and spend all of our free time admiring each others work.

I made this card and embellishment pack for her. Because there is nothing that fills my day with joy more than making something from the heart and sharing it with a friend.

I used a heaping handful of soft colors and textures to make the card. I started with some beautiful Maja Design paper, from the Sofiero collection as well as the Vintage Spring Basics collection.

I used beautiful Precious Remembrance stamps for the little tabbed sentiment, and for all the stitches. I stamped the bits in Smokey Shadow and Sweet Blush ink from Papertrey Ink.

I also misted a pretty crinkled ribbon in a soft yellow, and embellished the big beautiful bow with a pin, felt rolled rose, and some lace.

To the top, I added a little felt heart, along with a chipboard accent and a rhinestone.

shabby 3

For the layered lace circle, I used Papertrey Ink Limitless Layers Circles dies, to cut all the lovely shapes, and Heart Prints hearts for the little felt heart.

shabby 4

I made a few little rosettes that she can use on her own projects, out of cream felt, and vintage rhinestones. To decorate the little tag, I used PTI’s Tag Sale #3 die, and a few little bits of paper, lace, and die-cut hearts. At the top, I added a vintage button and a bit of lace.

Supplies: Maja Design Paper (Sofiero – Strolling Down the Rose Path, Vintage Spring Basics – 3rd of March, Papertrey Ink Rustic Cream Cardstock, Papertrey Ink Dies (Limitless Layers Circles, Heart Prints, Love Lives Here, Tag Sale #3), Papertrey Ink Dye Ink (Smokey Shadow, Sweet Blush), Precious Remembrance Stamps (Thank You), Papertrey Ink Felt (Vintage Cream), Buttons, Rhinestones, Crinkled Ribbon and Lace from my stash.

I can’t wait to see how she uses these little flowers.

Wishing you all a beautiful day,
