Since I have eight little nieces, I am always running out of pink cards and tags. But fortunately, Maja Design offers some of the most gorgeous pink papers I know, so I have the perfect papers to work with. I decided to create this tag in ‘Prima Ballerina’ style with some of my favourite pink Maja Design papers.

The papers I used are from the ‘Vintage Spring Basics’ and ‘Vintage Summer Basics’ collections. I did lots of layering and all layers of paper were inked with distress ink. Besides, I did some die-cutting to create some pretty paper elements. The gorgeous butterflies were cut out from the Vintage Spring Basics ‘6th of May’ sheet. The butterflies on this sheet of paper are so beautiful! I can hardly believe that Marie has all drawn them by herself.

Also, I used a small chipboard heart and a resin ballerina to achieve a sweet and feminine look. 3Supplies: Patterned papers: Maja Design (‘Vintage Spring Basics‘ collection: 6th of May, 4th of May, 1st of April; ‘Vintage Summer Basics’ collection: 1933-bs, 1908-bs, 1891); Prima Marketing: resin ballerina; Panduro Hobby: pearls; Tim Holtz: tag die; Memory Box: oval frame die; My Favourite Things: doily die; Spellbinders: lacey cirle die; Cheery Lynn: doily die; Other: seam binding.

Thanks a lot for stopping by on the Maja blog today! Have a wonderful day!
