I really have a thing with the reds of the latest Christmas collection A Gift For You. I have used my favourite papers on this layout with Joel, I hope you’ll like it. Joel was extremely fragile when I shot this photo. Our cat was heavy compared to him and he was approaching his birth weight very fast. We were so lucky to stay out of hospital on Christmas Eve. It was our goal that he was going to spend his first Christmas at home and I am so happy that he managed to. He’s a little fighter and is all well today. I have used chipboard from ScrapFX, punch from Martha Stewart and a die from Spellbinders. I really love the frame on that pattern so I’ve used it a lot.

As you may have heard from Elena Olinevich my house is very white… Or at least cream. I shot this selfie of me and Joel while we were wearing white and I got the idea to create a layout inspired by my house. Just like Elena did…I have used a combination of A Gift For You and Vintage Summer Basics. I have used vellum paper and cardstock to build up the photo. I have lots of cream, white and browns in my house. The wallpapers in my livingroom is a little bit too much Vintage Summer Basics. Hubby got nuts when he found out. I dress like Maja collections and now I put it on the walls too… Decorations from Prima and Tim Holtz. The texture paste on the background has been applied with a home made stencil.
