Hello, Maja Fans!
It’s Maja Nowak here to share a love-filled layout 🙂
I guess we’re all thinking St.Valentine’s now 😉 Love has many names, and one of them is a mother’s love towards her children – and vice versa. I’m lucky enough to receive much love from my sons every day – they are not ashamed (yet!!) to express their affection towards parents 🙂 And here’s a layout that shows my younger one “Mommy, I’m looking at you with love” 😉
I decided upon a deep pink-grey-white colour combo – pink for the boys too! But my son decided it was not “very girly pink” and so I could use it 🙂 I used the latest collection, Nyhavn, with accents from the previous wintery papers, A Gift For You and Vintage Frost Basics. I layered sheets of paper and stamped the top paper before arranging embellishments:
I made the heart the main design motif, die-cutiing and punching several hearts. I took three largest ones, matted them with papers and machine-sewed. Then I added some choeesecloth underneath:
Then I added some flowers and other embellishments, including the vintage shabby ribbon bow:
For the title, I used a chipboard word that I covered with crackle Distress paint and inked:
And how about you? Do you use pink tones for your boys’ pages? 🙂
