Good morning, Maja Fans, and welcome to the blog today 🙂

In a couple of days my auntie (and godmother) celebrates her 70th birthday! 🙂 She is such a sweet person, always smiling and helpful – I wouldn’t go through my high shool without her helping me in maths, she was a great teacher! 😀 Now she has two grandkids and takes care of them as their parents are at work. She’s always there for others and hardly ever does something just for herself, and so the family decided we’d all gather some money to but her a trip to her favourite mountain spa she used to visit as a young girl. I know no more elegant way to give somebody money than an exploding box with a cake – and here it is:

I used my auntie’s favourite colours and they all happen to be featured in the beautiful Enjoying Outdoors collection which is also very optimistic – perfect for the occasion and the person as well! For the sides of the box I used the Autumn Picnic flowery paper, and then on the lid arranged mulberry flowers in matching colours:

Inside I added tags I cut out from the Tags & Journaling cards sheet to serve as a bacgkround for banknotes 🙂

I also used one of the journaling cards for writing in birthday wishes:

I just can’t wait for the birthday party, to see the smile on my auntie’s face and hear the family stories again!
