Today I have a layout to share that I made using our latest release, the Summertime collection. And I must say: I LOVE it!! It’s perfect for many themes, not only the summer projects. But since our summer break has begun, the first layout using the new papers is all about the summer 🙂

For the background of my layout about one of our sailing trips I used the Is my favourite sheet. I took advantage of the printed word that makes the title of the page 🙂

The plain Is my favourite paper has flowers in the upper corner and a bicycle in the bottom corner, which didn’t suit my sailing theme. And so I arranged my design so as to cover the unwanted elements 😉 I “replaced” the blue roses with dimensional flowers, cut-out stamp, a starfish and a seashell and completed the cluster with cheesecloth, string and blobs of glitter:

…and I covered the bicycle with a similar cluster with some chipboard embellies:

I matted the photo with pieces of large sheets and papers from the small paper pad and tags I cut out from the By the sea paper:

I really like the way it turned out, especially that the paper helped me to design the page 🙂
