Hi there! I am back with a short post for you today. It is sooo busy this time of year, and I only had time to make a tag for you. I have used this beautiful papers from the Vintage Romance collection.

Vintage-Romance-P

The cute image is a new one from Magnolia, and she is called Happy 2017 Tilda. She is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers. And for the pink colour on her dress I have mixed together Victorian Velvet and Dusty Concord. For the darker parts I have used Hickory Smoke and Frayed Burlap.

I have decorated the whole tag with different laces, and then added some Maja papers. I have also used some small doilies and cheese cloth. The small flowers are punched out with a Small Retro Flower Punch. The postmark stamps are from Stempelglede. I have also added Fran-Tage on the the edges of the circle. Inside the flowers I have put some Liquid Pearls, and also on the scallops around the image.

Here is the paper used. Passion behind Tilda, and Walk with me for the flowers. This is a good way to use left overs 😉

I wish you a lovely time now before Christmas, and not a stressful one. Try to take some breaks and spoil yourselves!

Big hugs,

Camilla

Hello, dear friends! It’s Nancy today, and I’m honored to welcome you to the Maja Design Blog.

Are you busy with holiday preparations? It’s Christmas central at my house, and am I ever thankful for Maja Design Papers! They are helping my holiday crafting to go so smoothly. Today I’m sharing a Christmas card created with the festive ‘It’s Christmas time’ collection.

A 5

The base papers are distressed and stitched together.

A 3

I took a chance on my arm being once again strong enough to handcraft these poinsettias. All of the paper embellishments are fussy cut from the collection. With Maja Design you can really ‘let the papers do the talking’.

A 3b

There’s a great deal of dimension to this card but I’m having difficulty capturing it in my photos. Each element is popped up with one or more layers of foam adhesive.

A 6

A couple of die cut chipboard snowflakes, some lace and pearls from my stash, and a twine bow help to complete the card.

A 7

A light dusting of gesso adds a frosty finish.

Other Products Used: Spellbinders Poinsettia Die, Tim Holtz Snowflake Die, Tim Holtz Distress Tool, Lace, Loose Pearls, Natural Twine, Kraft Chipboard, Gesso, Foam Adhesive, Sewing Machine, Thread.

Thank you for visiting today! I also thank you for your kind words on my last project. They warm my heart and mean so very much to me. I send wishes to you for a joyful holiday season!

Hugs,Nancy-sign

Hi Sweeties,

The Christmas season is approaching inch by inch, and I’m totally loving every second of it.
Here, in our part of Sweden, the snow has already come and gone – but we really hope to see some again, before the big day.. ♥ Don’t you just love to watch the pure happiness in the children’s faces when they’re outside playing in the snow? That’s pure happiness for me.

Christmas is all about joy, happiness and some magic, and I just have to say – that was just what I experienced when I received all these fabulous contributions from all of you. Just like a little Christmas eve, just for me.. 😉 Thank you all, so much, for your effort. We really appreciate it! ♥

Layout

Hello my friends and Happy Sunday to all!!!

Mary here with you today to share my latest layout featuring the beautiful ”Vintage Autumn Basics” collection.

Close Up 1

The photo I found on Pinterest made wanna design a mysterious and dramatic layout. Before I start I want to give to the photographer all the proper credits for that awesome photo.

Close Up 2

For my background, I used two papers. The ”no.VII” as the main one and a torn piece of the ”no.XVIII” which I glued it above the other.

Close Up 3

I gave texture to my background with modeling paste and a stencil. I used Lindy’s Stamp Gang mists, the ”Cocoa Bean Copper”, ”Lucky Shamrock Green”, the ”Endelweis Moss Green” to color the spot where I placed my cluster. Some splatters with ”Midnight Randervous Raven” and a little stamping completed my background.

Close Up 4

I heat embossed the ”Amaze yourself” title with ”Midnight Pewter” lindy’s powder and the ”Skeleton Clock Frame” with ”Midnight Copper”. The ”Viney page frame”, (from which I used only some pieces), was sprayed with ”Endelweis Moss Green” mist. All the chipboards I used were 2Crafty.

Close Up 5

I made my clusters with Prima Marketing flowers and I added some ”Scrap Unlimited” embellishments to accomplish them.

Close Up 6

Some splatters with white gesso and microbeads in ”copper” to match with the earth colors to finished my layout.

Papers used:
