Hello.  Jennifer Snyder here today using a combination of papers from Maja Design Coffee in the Arbour and the Vintage Spring Basics collections.  Over the years, I’ve found that so many of the collections can be used together and mix so very well.  It’s part of the fun of using Maja Design.

The beautiful papers used from the Coffee in the Arbour collection are :
Lemon Meringue Pie, Flourishing Garden,  Homemade Lemoncurd – all shown below.
The Coffee in the Arbour  collection is bright and cheery.  It’s  like sitting on the porch on a warm sunny with a tall glass of lemonade.   Since it’s Autumn in NY and the weather is turning chilly, these warm sunny days are going to be just a memory, so I’ll be looking at the paper and smiling, remembering and enjoying.
As I mentioned, I also used papers from the Vintage Spring Collection.  It’s blooming with flowers and butterflies.
These are the papers I chose:
 6th of May paper
7th of May

The sweet butterflies are cut from the 6th of May paper in the collection.  They make for the perfect finishing touch.

Thank you for stopping here today.
You can see all the Maja Design collections here.

Hello Crafty Friends.

The air is chilling outside though it is sunny. And I like to review the pictures taken during the summertime. There are many of them taken at teh beach, si O decided to start making the cover for my mini album.

I have made already many projects with the Life by the Sea collection, but I still love to try it again and again and play with beautiful patterns.

I put many paper layers together. It was quite easy to do since there are many papers to try.

I like those strips, stars and the map paper sheets, and there are plenty of colors to choose and to mix for your projects.

Have a wonderful week end and enjoy your papercrafting.

Hello our blog friends. This time I would like to show you my first Christmas Card. I received the Christmas paper collections a long time ago. Couldn’t wait to use them! Finally I can say – the season for the Christmas cards has started ! :) Here is my first proposal :

Christmas Card

I cut out the Santa Claus from the “I wish – Ephemera” paper sheet, then created the background by adding layers one by one. Chipboard, paper flowers, some soft pom-poms and little bells.

Do you feel this magical atmosphere of Christmas here  ? I do :) Hope I will inspire some of you to  creating the Christmas cards, decorations etc. a little bit earlier. Hope this card is a good sign and I will find time to create more projects like this. Hugs, Paulina

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today :)

I don’t know about your places, but in Poland autumn more often than not is cool, rainy and windy (although we do have a term “golden Polish autumn”, meaning the warm time with all those fabulous colours!), with temperatures discouragin any outdoor activity 😉 So it’s the best time to curl up under a soft blanket, grab a cup of raspberry tea and indulge oneself in reading! And therefor for my today’s post I’m sharing two bookmarks I made for my sweet cousin and her husband :)

mdbookm

My cousin likes greens and purples, so I chose these colours from the Ska Vi Ta En Fika? collection for her bookmark and added golden accents:

I embossed the stamped Bible quotation with golden ep and then made a watercolour background using the embossing resist technique. I also tied some charms at the top:

The back side of the bookmark features gorgeous purple roses background, and my cousin’s initial and a stamped “I’m reading here” sentiment :)

The bookmark for her husband is made exactly in the same way, though I used a different stamp and colour palette, based on the Denim & Friends collection (love!). I also used decorative signature strips as borders:

And the back side:

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stamps: Prima Marketing, Lemonade, Art Parts; charms: Marianne Design, Rayher; dies: Crealies; inks: Ranger.

I do hope the bookmarks will make the reading even more pleasant for my family :) What do you think?

See you later!

Goodmorning lovely Maja Fans,

Today I am showing you a baby layout using a picture of a beautiful baby girl en the always pretty “Vintage Summer Basics” & “I Wish” collection on the background. Also we are promoting “PETALOO” flowers this month from the 12th – 24th and on this layout you will see a bunch of them. The Petaloo promotion ended yesterday but I was in bed with a nasty respiratory tract infection and got some medication for it so hopefully they will kick in soon. I could not help myself on using their flowers again on my layout so I combined Auntique Rose {item #1837-059} with the Antique Mauve {item #1836-070} and some of the left overs from the teal color.

This layout was also based on this months challenge at the Cuts2luv where I am a guest designer this month & next month. I started my layout by inking the edges of my background sheet with some Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays then I stamped a script and dot clear stamp randomly on my sheet after that I splattered three different sprays on it. I added a stencil on the background too…I cut out four doilies by Cheery Lynn in two sizes and added them in the lower right part of my layout and behind my picture.

Then I treated my chipboard with different mediums and placed them on my layout where I thought it looked nice then I build my page with the flowers and flairs. I finished my layout by adding some sequins, prills, mica flakes, pearlescents and some word strips.
