I wish a happy hello to all of our friends of the Maja Design Blog! I hope you’re well and enjoying fine weather, though March can be an unpredictable month in many parts of the world. It’s Nancy with you, sharing a new card inspired by springtime flowers and pastels. I’m using the beautiful Coffee in the Arbour paper collection, as the pretty yellows, greens, and roses seem to sing to me.

Featured in today’s card are handcrafted blooms, leaves, and layers of pastel design paper. You’ll also find some painted and distressed corrugated board, natural twine, and venice lace, for hints of the rustic as well as a feminine touch. A bit of grunge and elegant script stamping add to the overall effect.

The cheery hand stamped sentiment is perfect for almost every occasion. Below are some close ups of the handmade florals.

You can see the layers of distressing and stitching along the edges of the card, as well as a bit of the interior with it’s coordinating script stamping.

Hi everyone! I hope you are fine!

I have made a lollipop card for today’s post. And I have used beautiful papers from The Celebration Collection.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, image from Magnolia and the butterflies and text are made with a Stempelglede stamp. I have coloured the image with Distress Ink, re-inkers.

I have made an accordion and glued it together into a circle. Then I have added layers with pattern papers and doilies.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today! I wish you a wonderful Sunday! Here comes the list of papers used:

With love,

Hello.  Jennifer Snyder here with you to share a card using the beautiful masculine side of the Celebration collection.
The vision for this card was to create a birthday gift effect on the face of the card.
In addition to the gorgeous patterned papers from the collection, I also used a sheet from the companion monochrome collection, Shades of Celebration.
Here are the papers I used from the  12×12 Celebration collection:
Glamour
Congratulations
I added a detailed frame using Spellbinders die called  Tallulah Frill Layering Frame from the Chantilly Paper Lac collection by Becca Feeken.
My flowers are also made using Spellbinders dies.
What I love about this collection is that is can easily be used for masculine or feminine purposes.

Here is another glance at the finished card showing dimension.
Thanks for stopping here.  Happy Crafting.

Hello Maja Friends,

April is coming, however I found a picture taken in August and felt that I need to create something with it immediately, though I skipped the Spring time.

Well, I do like the end of summer, due to the harvest, the  smell of hay, and most of all because of the apples season.

So the apples were my main focus this time. I die cut the trees using the die, and used the negative die cut too. I also make some watercoloring inside this negative die cut tree

I add some drops of watercolors on the stairs die cut too

I didn’t want to be my layout busy with the paper layers or the embellishments, so I added mostly the die cuts   – one more tree, this time topped with the leaves and apples

and Silhouettes Etched Die with a tree  .

I also made some fussy cutting  – just love these roses from Summertime collection

and finished everything with watercolors.

Supplies used:

Summertime collection

Spellbinders Dies, Prima Marketing Flowers and Watercolors.

I also wanted to remind you about this month’s Moodboard, you can read about it here,  and to share my sample with you too

I love this color scheme as it has all of my favorite colors

I mixed the papers from different collection – Vintage Summer Basics and Crea Diem

I hope you have liked my projects for today.

Good morning, dear Visitors, welcome to the Maja Design blog 🙂

After a series of projects I created with the latest Celebration collection I return to one of my all-time favourites, Denim & Friends. I just love the colours and patterns of these papers! And here’s the layout I made:

The design of the page is my version of the clean&simple style 😉 I didn’t want to cover the beautiful background paper too much, so I matted the photo with just a couple of tags and a flower cluster mounted on a chipboard clock face:

I also decorated the paper with some stamping and a delicate brick pattern that I added with a stencil and modeling paste. The art clay angel wing adds some lightness to the darker colours:

I die-cut the layout title from the brown Monochromes set matching the collection – I’m so happy Maja started to release the plain papers sets, they save the pain of sacrificing beautiful patterned papers for matting and small elements 😀

Though it’s not the classic clean&simple page, I still like the way it turned out – light and fresh 🙂 What do you think?

And here’s the list of supplies I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: die: Kesi’art; stamp: My Favourite Things; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; stencil: Tim Holtz; chipboard: Wycinanka, button: Lemoncraft; wing mold: Prosvet.

Thank you for visiting today and see you later 🙂
