Welcome Maja friends!

Today I want to share with you another possibilitie, what you can do with the beautiful papers from Maja Design.

It’s a one sheet minialbum, that means for the basic you only need one background paper in 12 x 12″.

I chose from the Vintage Summer basics collection ”1936”, both colours are very suitable to my theme

blue, for the sea and brown, for a memoryin vintage style.

As addition some sheets from the Summertime collection.

I used some photo’s from our sheltie, a beautiful memory on last summer and really he is an aquaholic, even like me 🙂

on the right side you can see a ATC frame and some mini wooden shapes from Calico Craft Parts, a beautiful addition

where I used white crackle paint from DecoArt for an altered effect

other products:

cutting dies – Memory Box, Kaisercraft

Distress ink Vintage photo – Ranger

maritim clear stamps from different companies

Thanks for your visit!

Have a beautiful summertime my friends!

Hi everyone! I am back with a purple card today, with a few papers from the lovely Fika collection.

The main image is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers. I have stamped the image from Stempelglede on The Langton watercolour paper.

I have tried to use the same colours as the papers when I was colouring the vintage garden stamp.

The text says “You are special” and is also from Stempelglede. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. And I have put some sisal grass behind them. The shape of the card is made with a die from Go Kreate.

I have added different layers onto the card.

I really hope you are having a lovely weekend! I am soon of on my Summer holiday, which this year will be Spain. By the way, this card was published in the Norwegian Magazine Ett Trykk.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today!

With love,

Jennifer Snyder here to share a magical unicorn moment with Maja Design’s Enjoying Outdoors collection.

My sentiment reads : “It’s going to be a rainbows and unicorns kind of day.”
Some days are meant to be extra special.
Beautiful Maja Design papers can also help to make a day extra special.

The Enjoying Outdoors collection has rich purples and greens that make me think of unicorns.  I am not sure why I connect purple with unicorns, but I do.
That’s the very reason I selected this paper. These are the 12×12 pieces I used from the collection:
Flourishing
Woodlands
The Great Nature

The dimensional die used on this card is from Spellbinders and Becca Feeken.  The Unicorn die is also from Spellbinders.  The  die set is mean to fold flat  to fit into an envelope.

This is an image of the multiple layers of the card – the layers which make the card dimensional.  Scrolling down, the next image down shows the card folding flat for placing in an envelope.

Thanks for stopping here today.  I hope your day is filled with rainbows, unicorns and beautiful Maja Design papers.

This fills my heart

Hello Maja fans!

It’s Mary here and I would like to share with you a layout for my June inspiration. And for one more time, I made a colorful page with lots of flowers, chipboards and IOD moulds. The color combination I used is one of my favorite and I think it suits perfectly on the soft Maja Design papers. Don’t you think?

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that photo. And, the beautiful papers from the ”Denim & Friends” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

For my background I used the back side of the ”Fashion” paper. To start, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with paper texture paste and a stencil.

I used some Lindy’s Gang sprays to color my pages and made some stamping here and there.

I heat embossed the ”Mystic Frame #2” flourish chipboard with the ”Gutten Tag Teal” Lindy’s powder.  The title chipboard was also embossed with the ”Yodeling Yellow” powder and then, I covered it with the ”White Gold” wax. I randomly rubbed the same wax on the flourish chipboard and on the moulds too. The chipboards I used are Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and I made the final touch with some splatters with white ink.

Papers used:

That’s all for today, my friends!

Thank you for stopping by!

Friends.

Hello sweet Maja fans.

Lenet here and I bring you this card.

Today is the official first day of the summer , and so I decided to use the summertime collection to create this card with.

I love making cards with an extra twist ,so made this what shall I call it dangle card?

When you open the card you find a dangle of roses , I cut out of a sheet of Smell the roses.

I used the two bikes because well ,we dutch are not only known for the mills , tulips and wooden shoes ,  but we are also known for our many bikes.

I love to ride my bike and use it daily for fun but also for running errands .

And saying that I’m going to hop on my bike to bring this card to the post office than  it can be sent to my friend  so she”ll how much you appreciate her.

thank you very much for visiting our blog and hope you get some inspiration by this card.
