Hello and a big welcome today Maja fans. Tina O with you to share a little project that I have created today for my post here. Sometimes I run late with projects and they are the days I find I am the most productive. In saying this they are also usually my most favourite projects. And this one is no exception.

This is “Once upon a time………

I have used the Celebration collection. I am so drawn to pokadots and also black. Although this isn’t a true black I still am very drawn to it. And because it is not a true black I always think it is much easier to co-ordinate a multitude of colours with it.

I have used a photo of my gorgeous daughter at her formal this year. She looked absolutely gorgeous I think but I am bias of course. A real princess. All she needed was a crown. For my project I decided to draw the colour from her dress into the layout by using browns and greens along with the black and cream from the Celebration papers. The papers I used are listed for you below.

I tore Let’s Celebrate to sit over the top of the polkadots of Let’s Party. It didn’t add any mixed media just lots of soft laces and some gorgeous flowers to do all the embellishing of this page for me. I love every now and then to keep it very simple and clean.

The chipboards have all been dressed in Black Distress Ink and then wiped over with White Gesso and a little White Liquid Pearls to give a shimmer.

I love lace and recently I attented the Brisbane Expo where I found some of the most gorgeous pieces ever. Some of them I have used here. They have been cut into sections to sit around the flower clusters and to help take away from the black of the page.

I have added many layers of lace and chipboards to keep the focus on the prettiness of my background paper.

The gorgeous flowers used here are from 49andMarket. I have used the Aloe and Sandcastle colours to help coordinate with the page.

Well that is all from me today. I hope you have enjoyed my project and your visit to our blog.

Until next time happy crafting and take care.

Hi everyone! It is Camilla here with a piano pop up card for you. I have used the gorgeous papers from the Vintage Romance collection. I will show you which at the end of the post.

I have cut the piano out from Maja paper, and added black and vanilla bazzil for the tangents. The cute girl is Tilda from Magnolia. The text is from Stempelglede. And I have embossed it. The piano is made with a die from Magnolia. The circles are made with dies from Spellbinders.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have used green ink and water for the seem binding ribbon, curled it up and let it to dry.

Here you can see the card from the side, and how it is built up.

Here is the list of papers used:

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja blog today!

Big hugs,

 Thanks for stopping here today.
I’m Jennifer Snyder  and I would like to share a wedding card I made for my niece.
When I need gorgeous elegant paper, I reach for paper from Maja Design.
My niece is having an “end of summer’ wedding, so I decided to pick papers from
Vintage Summer Basics collection – with it’s wonderful array of blues, teals, pinks and creams.  These are the two papers I used from the collection:
1921
1923

This card is a shaker card.  I filled the chipboard heart designs with light pink crystal gems.    The image below shows the dimension of the chipboard hearts from Creative Embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Happy crafting.

Hello again dear Maja fans.

We still have a amazing summer over here in the Netherlands with lots of sun and warm temperatures. They are even talking about a heatwave next week.

So in order to cool down a little , I made this Christmas card , you never start too early making them right? Maybe this year I will be done in time instead of making them at the last minute.

This one I made with some leftovers from projects I made earlier with the Vintage Frost Collection.

To create snow the snow on the edges I used Finnabair art extravagance paper texture paste.

To create dimension on the card I used foamtape to stick the pieces together.

Thank you very much for your visit, I hope I was able to give you some inspiration with this card.

Wedding Envelope Card

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

While our summer Moodboard palette is absolutely gorgeous and up to my taste (check out the previous post!), for my today’s post I changed the colours entirely to go pinky mauve for a wedding. It’s been ages since I’ve made an envelope card and I thought I might as well make one 😉 But as Maja papers are nicely thick and sturdy, they aren’t perfect for a classic heavily folded envelope form. Therefore, I cheated a bit and made a card using only half of the sheet. And here it is:

I cut the She’s My Lady paper from the Vintage Romance collection diagonally and used the half with the fan in the corner, which is almost invisible and therefore suited for a wedding card. Using only half a paper made the same side of the paper to be the outside part and thus the flowery border around the page made a beautiful trim in front of the card 🙂 I sewed the bottom part and decorated the flap:

Inside the envelope I placed a writing cardstock piece that I decorated with a stamped and embossed ornament. I also embossed the wedding rings on the plate that masks the ribbon on the flap:

I really like the way the card turned out and how the patterns on the paper provided a beautiful background!

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; butterflies: Prima, home&you; stamps: Lemonade, Inkadinkado; ribbon, pearls: my stash.

Thank you for visiting the blog today, drop by tomorrow for more inspiration!
