Hello Maja Friends,

This Spring is totally great, so war, so sunny, so happy to feel its smell.

I love mixing the collections and this time is not an exception, so again I played with Vintage Basics – Summer and Spring

Moreover I took the color sprays and the modelling paste I have in my stash and played a bit on my background, it has been a long since I practiced it last time.

And adding the flowers was the most delightful moment.

But paper layers is primary step for me.

Have a wonderful week end.

Hello Lenet here today and I bring you a…Christmascard.

I know a lot of you don’t want to think about any thing Christmassy right now but I’m in a Christmas mood all year long.

I’m a member of two facebook groups that have a Chrismascard challenge  , and for that I need to make two Christmas cards a month, I can share them but If I have the time I want to make  4 different ones . Two for each group. You can never have enough Christmascards

The Christmas collections of Maja are just to gorgeous for not using them , so I use them a lot. that means you will see more Christmas cards from me thru out the year.

This one is made with several leftovers from different Christmas collections. I just love to make bleu ones it gives that winter and snow feeling I love and always hope we have at that time.

Besides the papers I used spellbinder dies , summerfeelings doily die from studio light and the Tim Holtz mini snow flakes rosette die. I just love rosettes.

I hope you like the card I made for your inspiration hope to see you back next time and don’t forget to come back to see the amazing things the other Maja girls make for you

Hello dear friends!

Mary with you today and I have a new layout with a video tutorial to share with you. To create my page I used papers from the gorgeous ”I Wish” collection along with some beautiful Dusty Attic chipboards which was placed around a photo I found on Pinterest. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

You can watch all the procedure here…

And here are some close ups…

I used the ”I wish those memories will last” paper from the ”I Wish” collection and I made some layers behind my photo with the ”Evergreen” and the ”Outdoors” papers from the ”Joyous Winterdays” collection.

To start, I applied a coat of clear gesso on the background. Then, I created texture with graphite paste and a stencil and heat emboss the pattern with the Wow metallic Platinum Sparkle embossing powder. Made some stamping here and there and used Lindy’s Gang sprays to add color.

Next, I embossed the ”Chain Circles” & the ”Ornate Corner #13” chipboard pieces with the Aged Ivory Stampendous embossing powder.
Continued with the ”Foliage #8” & ”Foliage #9” chippies which were painted with the Finnabair Golden Moss acrylic paint. The ”Window & Shutters #2” and the ”Wordpl@y3” pieces were also painted with the Finnabair Rustic Brown paint.

When everything was glued down I added some art stones and glass beads. The final touch was made with some splatters with white acrylic ink.

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Thank you for stopping by!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

The spring has come! And although March (and often April) in Poland are rather capricious when the weather is concerned, this year is exceptionally gracious. The sun comes out more and more often, the temperature is nice, not much rain – you just want to go for a walk 🙂 And feel like creating flowery cards, like the one I have for you today:

I used…well, yes, the Christmas papers again, but don’t they look very springy here? 😉 I combined the Monochromes sheets with the beautiful Ephemera backside paper. I distressed all the papers and layered them for a vintage, shabby chick background:

I wanted the card to be glamorous, so I added a cluster of roses with golden-lined petals and pearl rose leaves and a stamped sentiment that I heat-embossed with gold ep. The sentiment is mounted on a doily die-cut from mirror gold cardstock:

I added mirror gold pearls and some filigree chipboard flourishes covered with glitter. Tell me about the shine 😀

The card turned out pretty dimensional, so I added a card box decorated with glitter washi tape:

I like the way it turned out, bulky and glamorous 🙂 What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Cheery Lynn Design; flowers, leaves: Prima; stamp: Lemonade; chipboard: Scrapiniec; ribbon: Wild Orchid Crafts; pearls: my stash.

For the next post I promise not to use Christmas papers anymore 🙂 The spring has come!
