Hi there Maja fans! I hope you all are fine in this unsurreal times. The corona virus has hit Norway hard, but also the rest of the world. I am thinking of card making friends in Italy and Spain now. I hope you are all alright. I am isolating myself at home mostly of the time, as I am lucky to be able to have a home office. For today I have a heart shaped card to show you. I did the colouring with Distresses some time ago, but have put it together the last days. I hope you like it, and know that my heart is with you.

The papers used are from the lovely Little Street Cafe Collection. I will show you which ones at the end of this post.

The image and dies used are from Magnolia. Also the heart die I have used to make the shape of the card.

I have also used the Maja papers to make the flowers. They are cut out with dies, and put together to a beautiful Maja flower.

Under is a close up of more Maja flowers.

Here are the papers used:

Take care everyone!

With love,

A day to celebrate

Hello Sweet Maja Fans.

Lenet here and today I made you this celebration card.

It’s one that can be used for many occasions , always handy to have some of these in stock.

I made this one using the  6″x 6″ paperpack of Denim and girls.

Here I have a close up  from the centerpiece for you.

The flowers all come from my own stock .

The ticket stamp is an old one , I believe from Autumn Leaves.

I hope you all like my card, don’t forget to come back for more inspiration by the other Maja Girls.

And for now stay safe.

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

As each Maja Design collection, Little Street Cafe has a specific theme, but at the same time is versatile enough to be used for almost any kind of project. And today I’m bringing you a baby girl page using these beautiful papers 🙂

The collection features a vibrant palette of several colours, but it is really easy to opt for a monochromatic project. I selected mauve and pink papers and added a touch of white and gold to create light, delicate background for a sweet photo of my goddaughter.

First I layered background papers and applied a wreath motive upon them with a stencil and white texture paste. Then I filled each wreath with flowers:

I die-cut the title word from gold metallic cardstock and applied it upon a wired heart:

I also added some sequins for a bit of girly glam 🙂

I really like the way it turned out; light, subtle and delicate like the baby in the photo 🙂 What do you think?

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima; die: Kesi’Art; stencil: Agateria; diecuts, wired heart: Prima; mold: Prosvet; sequins: my stash.

That is all for today, thank you so much for visiting and don’t forget to drop by soon for more inspiration!

Hello Maja Design friends.  Jennifer Snyder here with a Spring/Easter card that is sweet as can be.  Since Spring and Easter are hopping into our lives, I thought I’d start my Easter cards to help chase away the cold, dull winter blues and welcome the sunny warmth.

Maja Design’s beautiful “Little Street Cafe” collection is the perfect paper choice to help celebrate, with it’s warm rose pinks and yellows.

Something Sweet and Tea Please combined with the coordinating Monochrome collection, Shades of Cafe:

The Monochrome collection, Shades of Cafe are 12×12 sheets of solid colored cardstock, perfectly coordinated to match with the papers of the Little Street Cafe collection.  The monochromes help take the stress out of trying to match cardstock with Maja Design’s amazing patterned papers.

This happens to be a shaker card made using dies from Spellbinders monthly die clubs and shaker mix from Buttons Galore and More.  I love making shakers because I know they bring smiles to those who open the card.  Who wouldn’t smile when seeing a shaker card made just for them?

Thank you for sharing your time.

Hello creative friends!

I’m back with a new inspiration for you,

it’s a vintage layout with our latest very romantic paper collection

 ‘ Little street cafe’.

I used the paper sheet ‘Meeting friends’ together with a monochrome paper ‘Vanilla’ as background and some cut outs from ‘Die cut’.

Matching the vintage theme I added some chipboards from Dusty Attic, some remnants of lace, old book pages and

some Prima Marketing metal embellishments and flowers to the mixed media layout.

some close up’s

stains and splatters with Distress ink for a coffee mood in used look

the time is right

a wonderful aroma emanates from the coffee cup makes with a flourish chipboard

Happiness is a cup of coffee or chocolate???

preferably with a delicious homemade cake, or?!

 Thanks for your visit!
I hope I could inspire you to use this beautiful papers
for some happy hours on your crafting table.
Wish you a happy time!
