Hello Maja  sweet Maja Fans

Lenet here today. I hope you are all healthy and well.

I don’t know how things are going in your country but here things are getting back to normal , as normal as can be.  Next month all cafe, restaurants, movietheaters, musea everything is going to be open again. Of course only for limited amount of people to enter.

Now without further ado , here is a card I made for you using the 6″x”6 paper pack of Sofiero. I love shabby chic and I think this collection is perfect for creating  shabby chic projects.

I did some stitching around some of the pieces of paper, I think it always adds something extra.

And everything shabby chic needs besides pastel colors are lots of flowers and roses , pears and nice bows.

I hope you like the card I made for you .

Stay safe and healthy

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Although the pandemic caused closure of schools worldwide, it doesn’t mean studying stopped as well (but perhaps pupils aren’t so happy about it 😉 ). And of course it doesn’t mean teachers stopped working. Running online classes is no less demanding and many claim they spend even more time getting the lessons ready than at school. Most students in Poland won’t be returning to schools before the summer break, but they still want to express their gratitude towards their techaers who help them deal with this difficult situation we’re all in. And so I made two cards thay say “Thank you!”:

They are larger than my usual cards, measuring 15×20 cm (so twice the regular size), I guess these pupils are particularly grateful! 🙂 One is for the headmaster:

…and the other for a Polish language teacher:

The  card for the headmaster features the Little Street Cafe collection and a hand-coloured stamped images of an owl and some books that I also heat-embossed with gold ep. I added a flower cluster and die cut sentiment:

For the Polish language teacher card I used the Celebration collection. The focal point is a book I made from scraps of paper and decorated with flowers made from foamiran and an embossed chipboard sentiment. I also added a beautiful letter-patterned ribbon to look like a bookmark going across the card:

I hope the teachers would like the cards as much as I liked working on them!

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stamps: Lemonade, Agateria; dies: Leane Creatief, Nellie Snellen, Marianne Design; flowers: Prima, handmade; chipboard: Wycinanka.pl; embossing powder: Blue Fern Studios; enamel dots: DP Craft; border punch: EK Success; ribbon: Eight.pl.

That’s all for today, stay healthy at home, and see you soon!

If you are not familiar with the Monochrome collections, they are perfectly coordinated with the colors in the Maja Design collections and are made to mix and match.   The “Shades of Cafe”  offer solid cardstock that can be used on a variety of the Maja Design collection.

Welcome Maja friends!

Today a new inspiration layout with our latest paper collection ‘Little Street Cafe’.

It’s so wonderful to enjoy a good cup of coffee with a delicious piece of cake in beautiful spring weather. Here you can only do this on the balcony or terrace at the moment, but when the sun is shining and with a good book in your hand, the day immediately looks friendlier again.

I used  the ‘Plum’ monochrome paper from the suitable collection ‘Shades of Cafe’. Matching some hand torn strips of  ‘Coffee al fresco’, ‘ The best place’ and ‘Something sweet’. I cut out the main motif with the beautiful lady and inserted her as the center point with 3D pads, matching the current corona rules with sufficient distance ;-).

That was a joke because we don’t have to keep our distance to coffee and cake yet,

although that would certainly be better for a perfect bikini figure :-).

some close up’s

I hope I could inspire you to take time again for the beautiful things in life!

Happy crafting!

Hi everyone! I am back with a frame card I have made. I hope you all are fine<3

I have used papers from both collections above for this card. The frame is coverd with a sheet from Denim & Friends, but the rest I have used are from the Little Street Cafe Collection.

I wanted to capture this sweet Tilda out walking outside late at night. It is a starry and bright sky, and there are some fireworks as she walkes along the lane.

Therefore I found this lovely blue spotted paper from Denim & Friends, for the back. And it fittet so nicely with the Little Street Papers, which I have used to decorate a whole scene.

All the cut outs are made with dies from Magnolia.

White spots here and there are made with white Gesso. It gives the card a touch of shabby look.

The flowers are also made with Maja papers. Behind them I have put some Sissal gras.

The image is painted with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers. Soft colours to match the papers.

The depth of the card/frame is one cm. And I have taken some photos of it laying down, to give you a better view of it.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja blog.

With love,
