Merry Christmas

Hello Lenet here today and I bring you a…Christmascard.

I know a lot of you don’t want to think about any thing Christmassy right now but I’m in a Christmas mood all year long.

I’m a member of two facebook groups that have a Chrismascard challenge , and for that I need to make two Christmas cards a month, I can share them but If I have the time I want to make 4 different ones . Two for each group. You can never have enough Christmascards

The Christmas collections of Maja are just to gorgeous for not using them , so I use them a lot. that means you will see more Christmas cards from me thru out the year.

This one is made with several leftovers from different Christmas collections. I just love to make bleu ones it gives that winter and snow feeling I love and always hope we have at that time.

Besides the papers I used spellbinder dies , summerfeelings doily die from studio light and the Tim Holtz mini snow flakes rosette die. I just love rosettes.

Hello Sweeties

Today, I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Summer Basic collection. I chose a photo of the Daum Venus aux Tiroirs by Salvador Dali.

I stamped here and there with a grey ink before priming the background with clear gesso. I added also a very thin layer of white gesso to tone down the blue.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and Paper texture paste. While the paste was still wet, I sprinkle two embossing powders: one pearl, the other silver that I heat set.

Then, I added some colors: black ink, white ink, and steel mica to add some contrast.

While the inks were drying, I die cut some leaves in a watercolor paper. I colored with a blue ink and embossed the big ones. I covered the other ones with a silver foil. I colored some flowers in blue.

I cut some papers in the Home for Holidays collection to add under the photo. Before gluing all the embellishments, I stamped some text here and there with a black ink.

To finish the layout, I added silver microbeads and glitters.

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! This is my first Maja card in 2018, and I am so thankfull to be in this wonderful team for one more year!

I have used papers from the gorgeous Home for the Holidays Collection. I will add the list at the end of this post.

I have used papers in blue, white and brown tones. They are so beautiful! The stamps used are from Magnolia, and are called Spellbound 17. I have coloured the image with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.

Here I have made some post stamps of the “Love the snow” paper. The post mark stamp is from Stempelglede.

All the flowers, lace and flowerberries are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Hello, The winter Season is right behind the corner, I feel. So it’s time to create the snow inspired cards

Though I don’t like the winter season at all, I like creating the cards this time of the year. I used the Home for The Holdays collection. It reminds me about the heavily snow times we have when I as a child. Now the climate has changed.

I’ve added the die cut ornaments and the chipboard frame

I also added the crochet snowflakes and it really came out cozy and warm

Goodmorning Maja Design Fans,

Today I’d like to share some projects I made with my lovely Maja Design papers all the flowers you will see on my projects are all hand made with dies. I love making winter projects although I dislike winter time here in The Netherlands the days are getting colder and the night longer. I love the getting cozy part but the rest not so much. My first project is a 8×8 layout made with different Maja Designs collections.

As I said I love playing with snow effects and I did that massively here on this layout…can you see which collections I have used here? Don’t you just love that picture? Although I dislike winter time I love snow and the peacefulness it brings….hope it will snow this year.

Now on to my cards……
