Hello our blog fans. Few days ago my friend ask me if I’m able to create a card for someone who know what hunting is . It was a big challenge for me but then I realised about the “Walking in the forest” collection! Fits perfectly ! Couldn’t be better ūüôā Here is my idea. Take a look, please :

¬†I’m really happy to create something different. It was not my comfort zone, definitely ! ūüôā What about you … do you like challenging project to make ? Where are you finding inspiration when your head is full of the same ideas, the same compositions ? Waiting for for each feedback. Hugs, Paulina

Goodmorning Maja Design Fans,

Today I’d like to share some projects I made with my lovely Maja Design papers all the flowers you will see on my projects are all hand made with dies. I love making winter projects although I dislike winter time here in The Netherlands the days are getting colder and the night longer. I love the getting cozy part but the rest not so much. My first project is a 8×8 layout made with different Maja Designs collections.

As I said I love playing with snow effects and I did that massively here on this layout…can you see which collections I have used here? Don’t you just love that picture? Although I dislike winter time I love snow and the peacefulness it brings….hope it will snow this year.

Hello Maja Friends,

Today I’ve got a few cards to share with you that I made using Walking in the Forest collection

I started making the cards and thought that I would make something floral with bright colors, but then I saw the worn jeans and plaid patterns and changed my mind. I decided to try something for the male

I found some dies in my stash – the royal crowns and the key holes and realized that they would be a perfect match for my cards

But I didn’t want my cards to be too serious , so I added the mustache chipboard

and even placed some of them on each other.

My finish step was to add the jewels on the crown. I like how they turned on  in fact.

Walking in the forest 6×6 Paper Pad

BoBunny Dies, Wycinanka chipboard

Hello, dear friends! Welcome to the Maja Design Blog. It’s Nancy here, with a new card to share. I may have mentioned previously that I love autumn. I can barely wait for that hint of chill in the air and nature’s lavish display of rich colors. This is when I spend my days with Maja Design’s breathtaking Walking in the Forest paper collection. I find that this collection truly embraces the inspiring hues of the season, which is what I’m aiming for with today’s card.

Each design paper is carefully distressed, layered, and stitched. The sentiment stamp has been on my desk just waiting for fall to arrive!

A die cut wreath forms an anchor for the plethora of leaves, berries, and flowers as they tumble down the front of the card.

A 3

A twine bow is tucked in along with the florals.

Jennifer Snyder here today, feeling thankful.  While it may feel like life is  spinning out of control, the world has gone crazy and work is stressful,  remind yourself of the many reasons to be thankful.  Thankful for supportive family, friends and co-workers.  Thankful for health and a warm home.  And thankful for a papercrafting hobby that brings peace, joy, a way to relieve the stresses of the day through beautiful papers and crafting supplies.
I made a card for a person who has helped me in my job for 10 years.  She is a treasured client of mine and is moving to a new position.  I value her assistance and level-headedness in the times when work seems like it can gobble me up.
My gorgeous paper choices perfect for the season are from Maja Design –¬†Walking in the Forest¬†paper collection. Featured below are the papers I used to create my card:
Maple ( both A and B side)
Mountain Ash (B side)
I grabbed another great product perfect for the season Рmy Spellbinders Fall Leaves die.  I also added some gold embroidery floss, floral berries and a flower for embellishments.

Here are a few more closeups of the papers and embellishments on my card.

I am thankful for your visit and support.  May your Autumn season be full of reason to be thankful.
