NorwayCamilla Støen Bakke

My name is Camilla Støen Bakke. I live together with my husband, Bjarne, in Norway, not far from the city Bergen. I started cardmaking in 2006. It was not much in the beginning, just some simple cards to tell a class I had that I appriziated my time with them. I am a teacher, and was then leaving a school, to start working at a school closer to where I lived.
It was finally early in 2008 that cardmaking became a bigger part of my life, and I started my blog.

I have always loved making things, and I love to colour. When I was a little girl my grandmother draw Disney figures for me, so I could colour them. And when I discovered Distress Inks, I really felt that this was something for me. And when I can make someone happy with my cards, it makes the hobby worth while. I also use the cardmaking to relax after a busy day at work.

My favourite style must be shabby chic or vintage. I love using laces, roses and pearls. And I almost always use Distress inks on the paper edges, and I use a lot of Stickles. The Maja Design papers have always been a favourite since I first discovered them. First of all it is the colours and style that appeals to me, but also the thick and wonderful quality. So when Marie asked me to join her Design Team I was so happy and honoured!
