Hello Sweet Maja Fans.

Lenet here  and today I bring you this layout, made with the celebration collection.

With everything going on I think it’s very important to look for the little postiteve things and celebrate them.

that’s why I chose to use  the ” The more you praise and Celebrate your life , the more there is in life to celebrate ”

quote on the strip from the Champagne sheet of the celebration collection.

The picture of the little girl inspired me to make this layout. She is smelling the delicate flowers and clearly enjoys them.

one of the things that I think should be celebrated in life, the beauty of mother nature.

Besides the wonderful Celebration collection I used chippies from  Scrapaholics, the Lattice pieces, the Ivy Vine Spray set,  and the Enjoy Life sentiment from  The Life Moments set.I colored them with  Embossing poweder from WOW and distress embossingpowder from ranger/ TimHoltz.

The flowers are from 49 And Market. The flatback button with the butterfly I made myself with the Button Press from WeR.

Thank you for visiting , hope you like my layout.

Stay Safe and hope to see you back.

Hello Sweet Maja  fans.

Lenet hereand today I bring you this  layout made with the wonderful papers of the Vintage Summer Collection.

The frame and sentiment are chipboards from Dusty Attic and I colored them with distress embossingpowder from Tim Holtz.

Lately I’m into making  My own flowers , not that I don’t have any but it’s fun to do and this way you always have a matching color to go with you papers and picture .

That is if you use a picture on the project you are making. Another good thing is , I’m using my old flower dies again.

Here are two close ups of the flowers I made for this layout, I added a littleplaterpaste on the edges to give it a little extra. in the center I used stems and 3D balls medium from powertex.

and again I did some fuzzy cutting and stuck them behind the flowers . I love to do the fuzzy cuttig and the effect it gives when you use them like this. It’s just that little bit extra.

I hope you like my lay out , thank you for visiting , stay safe and hope to see you again next time.

The dark red flower is made by me too.

some more selfmade flowers and  again a self made button  using the  design papers. So coll you have always a matching embellie.

I made some snow with Gesso, glitter and mica flakes. The gorgeous chipboard swirl is from Dusty Attic.

Hello and welcome back Maja Design friends. I hope this post finds you safe and well. Today I am back to share my next project using the gorgeously stunning paper collection of “Miles Apart”. The pastel colours of this collection always lead me to using Sepia photos. And close at hand was this photo of me from our wedding day quite some years ago. I have never used it before, so I am really glad that I chose this range to scrap with it.

I selected the sheets below to start off my project. I used the bs of “A few words” for my background page. I love this piece with all the additional handwriting and slight colouring over the background. I made lots of layers using “Keep in touch” and “Keeping busy” both a and b sides of each was used. I distressed my papers and layered them up using old board. I also tore some sections to run across the background page.

I chose to use 2 sheets of “The little things”. From the first sheet I did a lots of fussing cutting of the flowers and leaves as you will see above. I used a second pieces to add some layers in my project behind the chipboards.

The layering of this project was the most time consuming part this time around. I also used chipboards to help add more layers in. Each of these pieces were coloured with relief paste and sanded back to give the worn shabby look of time gone by. I also added in some extra flowers from my stash and a little muslin and flower pearls to keep with the prettiness of the papers. I have a few closeup photos for you below.

Amongst all the distressed layers I have added in some charms, muslin and flower pearls to keep it simple and shabby. I also added in a little more of the relief paste around some of the paper layers and over this some random stamping using a script stamp.

Well that is all from me today. I hope you enjoyed my post and stay tuned for more Design Team gorgeousness very soon.

Happy Crafting

Hello sweet Maja fans,

Lenet here and I bring you this layout.

Ooooh my shabby heart, I love this collection so much!

The miles apart collection that is . It’s the ultimate shabby chic collection for me now.

The soft colors the roses ..everything. Next to the Sofiero collection my favorite one.

I do love the strips at the bottom of  every sheet of paper, it always ahs a nice quote on it that you can use on cards, mini albums, lay out, you name it.

I especially love the the one from the keep in touch sheet. I used it at the top corner on your left.

i cut out the flowers from the Thinking of you sheet..they are wonderful to use as a die cut.

Some pearly swirls from Prima Marketing to finish it off.

This is a chippie from Dusty Attic wich I colored with sugar floss lustre and sugar orchid lustre embossing powder from  Blond Moments.

I hope you love this layout as much as I do.

Thank you for visiting , stay safe and hop to see you again soon.
