Hello Sweet Maja  fans.

Lenet hereand today I bring you this  layout made with the wonderful papers of the Vintage Summer Collection.

The frame and sentiment are chipboards from Dusty Attic and I colored them with distress embossingpowder from Tim Holtz.

Lately I’m into making  My own flowers , not that I don’t have any but it’s fun to do and this way you always have a matching color to go with you papers and picture .

That is if you use a picture on the project you are making. Another good thing is , I’m using my old flower dies again.

Here are two close ups of the flowers I made for this layout, I added a littleplaterpaste on the edges to give it a little extra. in the center I used stems and 3D balls medium from powertex.

and again I did some fuzzy cutting and stuck them behind the flowers . I love to do the fuzzy cuttig and the effect it gives when you use them like this. It’s just that little bit extra.

I hope you like my lay out , thank you for visiting , stay safe and hope to see you again next time.

Goodmorning & happy April lovely Maja Design Fans,

How nice of you to visit the blog, today it’s my turn to give you some inspiration on how to use your amazing Maja Design papers. For this layout I used the pretty “Miles Apart” collection….one of my new favorites by far. On this layout I used a picture of our little princess Abbey Jane when she was about three months old. All the products I used on the beautiful papers are by Renea Bouquets they are a perfect fit for all the gorgeous Maja Design papers.

As you maybe know by now I am a die hard layout maker, I began about 17 years ago and in the beginning I always made dubble pages but in the process of my scrapbooking years they became single pages. Sometimes I think and start trying to make a double one but that idea never sticks with me for long….for today I have a single page again lol….that started in my mind as a double page.

As you see I ripped the papers in pieces and then layered them the way I wanted to, so the pink papers peak through in one part but I wanted to have the green as my focal point. Behind the green I added the beautiful lace I think lace on your layout makes it really feminine. On top of my green sheet I added a script stencil.

I also added a stamp on the background and some spray for the finishing touch I added some microbeads, art stones & Finnabair waxes {on my flowers and leaves}

Maja Design papers used: Be Safe bs & Distance

I told you that I would come back with the answer of how much collections was the most I used on my projects and it was five 😉 Have a wonderful day and please stay safe & healthy.

Love

I Love You Lil’ Darlin

 Goodmorning Lovely Maja Design Fans,

Today it’s my turn again on this lovely blog and this time I’d like to share a steampunk layout. On the picture you see  my handsome husband with our tiny little girly in the shower. I don’t know why I assosiate black with steampunk but I do, I used one of the darkest pages Maja Design offers to make this layout. The papers are distressed and I added a Finnabair stencil on it and a script stamp.

When I could choose my Guest Designer Package I was focussed on the black lace, flowers, butterflies and chunky glitter glass and went around that creating my layout. The beautiful boards are treated with some different mediums…I used Finnabair rust effect paste, waxes and black gesso on some of them and on the other pieces I used some lindy’s sprays and a script stamp.

I think the pretty hinges are so cool to used they are very detailed and I have to tell you I am a sucker for chipboards like that kind of steampunk stylish. For me this layout is kind of clean and simple and that is sometimes nice to make as well if I had more flowers I would have added them all lol….

I have tucked the lace in the rips that I made in the papers I always wanted to try that but I never did…To finish my layout I added some amazing black chunky glitter glass and I also added some rub-on words.

Maja Design papers used: Celebration: Ephemera bs & Vintage Summer Basics 1912 bs.

 Goodmorning Lovely Maja Design Fans,

Today I’d like to share another wintery layout with you all made with some beautiful Maja Design papers. All though I really dislike winter I do love making layouts like this, and I feel another one coming …. since we had some snow in the last 2 weeks {around 20 cm} I went outside with our little princess {and I took a whole bunch of pictures} I find that snow is very peaceful and you can hear yourself think that’s nice sometimes. But oh does it get messy when melting ughhh. It was a while since there was that much snow.

As you can see on my layout I did some handstitching which I find very therapeutic to do…I kept the colors very neutral and the layout is very clean & simple at least for me. On my background I added a crackle stamp and a crackle stencil. I also distressed the edges a lot on the the beautiful boards I just some sprays and snow but I gessod it first.

I am a hugh fan of of Renea’s Bouquets Moonstone Glass Beads so I added a couple randomly on my page can you spot them? For this layout I used a picture of my husband and son when he was little I could have used some newer pictures but this one is very precious to me. For this layout I used two pretty Maja Design collections “Home for the Holidays” & “Joyous Winterdays”

The frame was treated with gesso and then I added some snow and the amazing Gawdie Girl Diamond Fine German Glitter Glass on top of that snow. I aslo did the same with the snowflake beautiful boards. The butterflies I treated a little to with some spray & snow to make it a little less shiny what looked better on this particular layout. As I said before I really love how well the Maja Design papers combine together….love all my maja papers so much 🙂

Maja Design papers used: Joyous Winterdays: Glisten bs & Mr Snowman bs, Home for the Holidays: Together

 Welcome Maja friends!

Recently we have made a beautiful winter trip in the mountains ‘Harz’.
Snow and ice magically transformed the landscape into a winter fairy tale.

It’s still February

and winter has us in its grip with lots of snow and icy temperatures.

A winter where you look forward to spring all the more. Hopefully it will be soon!

I used some paper sheets from the ‘Holiday in the Alps’ collection
