Hello sweet Maja fans.

Today it’s my turn again to show you something I made with gorgeous Maja papers .

This time I bring you a Happy Birthday card.

For this card I used two papers from the Vintage Romance collection, Love poetry and When I saw you,

as base I used  Lavender Rose from the Monochromes – Shades of Celebration

I took the right upper corner of the piece of paper i had on top and rolled it half way back.

I used A frame of tattered angels en put in halfway behind the roll , added some flowers and finished it of with some pearl swirls  from want 2 scrap.

I used some sentiment stamps from Paper Sweeties for the birthday message.

the label I used for the sentiment is made using a corner of a spellbinders die

Close up of the roll on top, and  on of the flowers with the frame underneath  it.

Thank you very much for visiting today, I hope I have given you some inspiration with my Birthday card.

Lots of Wishes

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Forgive me please, but I’m back to my most favourite Maja collection, i.e. Denim&Friends. I just love the versatility of this set! The patterns, the colours – it’s so much more than just a masculine collection 🙂 And to prove that I have a birthday card to share – and it’s not necessarily for a man:

I layered light sand papers for my background and distressed all the edges. That provided a semi-dimensional matting for the focal decorative element, a chipboard layered clock:

I added a flower cluster in the lower left-hand corner and a small star banner in the opposite corner – I cut it out from the signature strip of the Monochrome-Aqua sheet (if you have seen some more of my projects, you know that I love using those tiny patterns too 🙂 )

Just look at this yummy dimension!

I really like the way the card turned out – light and delicate, with a romantic twist 🙂 What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: chipboard clock: SnipArt; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; mists: Prima; stickers: Heidi Swapp; stamp: Lemonade; embossing powder: Ranger.

That is all for today, visit us daily for more inspiration!

Hello sweet Maja fans.

A few of the things I love is recycling pretty packaging.

Every time I get a gift or buy something I take a close look at the package and see if I can make something nice out of it.

Good thing I have enough space to store all the interesting items , the only thing I need now is time , lots of time , but think that is a common problem we crafters have.

Anyway  I got some scented sticks ( love those too)  and the came in this tube .

We had a anniversary and double birthday party coming from friends , the asked money so they could buy something nice that was very expensive.

I think just giving money is boring , so wanted to make a nice package to put it into and I had this tube lying around so cut half of it and made this out of it.

on the top lid I glued a lot of flowers .

Under the lid I glued a satin ribbon that you can pull to take the lid of and it’s also a handle to hold the gift.

and a little birthday card to go with it and voila, gift tube is done.

For this project I used the Celebration Collection , what better papers are there to use for this gift tube than  the celebration Collection right?

Flowers are from Wild orchidcrafts , pearls and ribbon from my private stash.

Thank you for visiting.

I hope you like my project for this week and hope I gave you some inspiration for recycling those tubes.

I have more tubes lying around so will be back with another one soon.

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to our blog!

Today I am going to celebrate with you 🙂 And therefore I have some birthday cards:

And what better collection to use for such festive cards than our own Celebration? 🙂 I mixed papers from the regular and small pads.

The first card features a sweet cupcake:

I layered purple and beige papers and used the rich dark brown floral paper for the background, matting the die-cut cupcake with a contrasting sand Monochrome sheet. I added matching polka dot ribbon and a metal charm in the shape of a teapot. Here’s the birthday tea party 🙂

The stamped sentiment says in Polish: A lot of happiness and sweetness. How fitting!

For the second card I used a dreamcatcher motif:

For this card I selected the blue papers of the collection and composed the dreamcatcher combining a doily and feather dies:

I also added vintage ribbon and a button and finished off the design with gem stones, pearls and glitter:

I made the third card to…well, use up the leftovers 😉

I used the tiniest bits to punch the doily border and die-cut the banners. Then I used larger pieces to make the background:

The patterned papers make the beauty of the card, so other decorative elements include only flowers, pearl border and some delicate stamping:

Here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Marianne Design, X-cut; punch: Martha Stewart; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; stamps: Lemonade, the ScrapBerry’s; bling, pearls: Creative Expressions; glitter: Ranger, Nuvo.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I have recently had the pleasure of making a sweet birthday card for a sweet girl.

I used mostly Denim & Friends papers as they matched the colours from the photo most perfectly. I added just a touch of the Vintage Summer pink in the background:

I have die-cut the embellishments from the papers, such as the cute heart banners and the number flag:

I stamped the cute beart with a heart, coloured it and paper-pieced the heart using a scrap of the Vintage Romance heart-patterned paper. I then added a small letter “O” for the girl’s name:

I also added plaid ribbon and some mini flowers and cute white pom-poms as the finishing touch.

And I think the card symbolises the 9-year-old girls quite accurately: still cute, but not too much 😉 What do you think?

Here are my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Marianne Design, Craft Passion; stamp: ScrapBerry’s; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; ribbon: Rayher, pom-poms: my stash.

Before I bid you goodbye, I’d like to wish you a joyous Easter filled with the warmth of love and kindness 🙂

See you soon!
