Hello Sweet Maja fans,

Lenet here and this time I bring you this Thank You  card .

This card is made with Maja Designs latest collection Bohemian Harmony. I used the 6×6 inch collection .

I just looove it, the bleu and warm brown colors are such a great combination andthe patterns of course as well.

As an early birthday present my hubby got me a Spellbinders glimmer hotfoil system.

I never really was into this foil and glimmer stuff but I love this one! It’s so much fun so now I’m collecting dies and foil for it.

I used it on this card. The sentiment and the frame are made with it.

The flowers are from 49and market and the ribbon is from my own stash.

I hope you like my card.

Thank you for visiting and  stay safe .

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Today I bring you another project made using the latest collection, Bohemian Harmony – a birthday card in the boho style 🙂

It’s a very simple card with neutral ecru and beige background with beautiful subtle patterns of the Boho papers. I decorated the flower cluster with punched tabs, crystal twigs and linen string:

Then I added a mini macrame I made using thick cotton thread and a toothpick 🙂

I finished the card off with a chipboard sentiment covered with opalescent glitter and glitter sequins.

I really like the way it turned out, even my first macrame ever 😉 Beautiful papers in the background helped to create a delicate card in neutral colours.

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Prima; vintage ribbon: Wild Orchid Crafts; punches: DpCraft; chipboard: Fabryka Weny; string, thread, sequins: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!

Very Merry Christmas.

Hello Sweet Maja Fans.

Lenet here and today I have to show you this Christmas card.

I Made this card using some left over scraps from an older  Christmas collection called Joyous winterdays.

The boy and the snow man are on the bottom of the Snowball fight  sheet. I did some fussycutting on the little boy and placed him closer to the snow man.

I added some sparkles to the snow with Nuvo Glitterdrops White Blizzaed.

I used the Fluted Classics rectangle dies from Spellbinders to get that fun edge. I really love those dies so I think you will see them more often.

The sentiment is made with a stamp from Waltzing Mouse.

I hope you like this card I made for you.

Stay safe and hope to see you back soon.

Confirmation Card Revisited

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

A couple of years ago on one of the craft forums I found a challenge called “Project Revisited”. The challenge meant that you recreate a past project of yours, whether introducing some changes or not. I thought this was great for beginners to check on their progress, but also for any crafter, just for fun. And so with a recent Confirmation card order I thought of this challenge and recreated a card I made a couple of years ago.

I used the Miles Apart collection for the card and kept the design mostly unchanged, but while I used just Monochrome papers then, I decided to go for a patterned paper this time, choosing my favourite rose bouquets pattern and I just LOVE how fresh and delicate it looks!

In the previous card the die-cut doilies were supposed to add some texture and interest to the background, and here I found they provide the structure for the design and make the background less busy. I think it’s awesome how the same element can have opposite functions when used in different contexts!

As the card was supposed to go into an envelope I went easier on the flower cluster than in the past card, but it still has a nice dimension:

And here’s what I used for this version of the card:

And how about you? Do you “visit” your past projects sometimes, and if yes, do you change much?

See you soon!

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

The weather is slowly changing into dull, rainy and cool, but I’m not ready yet to leave the summer behind 😉 And so today I bring you a cheerful summer wishes card made using the very summery Tropical Garden collection:

I layered background papers, applied a stencil pattern on top and added a shaker box balloon filled with sequins, hand-cut tags and a flowers cluster including a bouquet cut out from one of the sheets:

I finished the card off with a chipboard sentiment embossed with white ep.

I really like the dimension the card has, though it will require making a box too 😉

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: 49&Market, my stash; chipboard, stencil, embossing powder: Agateria; vintage ribbon, sequins: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!
