Goodmorning lovelies,

Today I am up on this lovely blog using my precious Maja Design papers. In my last post I added some questions and I will give you those answers in my August 11th post, the same as I give you my tutorial that day. Sorry for that but I had to deal with some serious personal issues so I have not been scrapbooking as much as I wanted to. Today we will be leaving for our well deserved vacation trip for the next seven day we will be enjoying each others company at a camping ground in the south of our little country we are very excited as you can imagine…, for this post I made a 8×8 layout using only Maja Design papers, dies and a flair.

That sweet picture I got from pinterest oh boy how I love that site…here I used several Maja Design collection such as Vintage Autumn Basics, Vintage Baby, I Wish and Vintage Summer Basics. The centers of my big flowers are made with foamballs that I glued on and dipped in mini prills such a lovely effect that has.

On the background I added some spray’s, stamp and paste. But I also stamped the word sweet on the picture I really do love Gabi her word stamps. What I do when making a layout with just paper and dies….firstly I will cut all the dies that I want to use in different colors then I will make the flowers and their centers and put those together.

Then I it is really easy to make it into one whole piece that you like. At the moment I am totally hooked on the amazing flairs by Cuts2luv that I will use it on almost every single project I make. I wetted my papers to disstress is a little more at the edges I also inked the edges first before I did that.

Goodmorning lovelies,

It’s such a blessing to post on this blog and today I am here to show you two tall cards I created with a bunch of Maja Design collections. I don’t even know how many of them because both cards made out of leftover papers I really enjoy using my scraps every once in a while! I really enjoy the month March not only because it was my birthday {and hubby’s too} yesterday but I really love how spring is sneaking up on us. Did you see the gorgeous spring mood board yesterday on the blog? If not please check the ladies made some pretty amazing work on that mood board wow…..

First card is called “Hello Love” and this card has at least three collections in it like “Enjoying Outdoors”, “Vintage Spring Basics” & can you see the other one? These cards are all made with dies so you can really see the beautiful Maja Design collections at it’s best.

Second card is called “Groovy Summer” I really am longing for Summer since this is my most favorite season of the year but here in The Netherlands that will take some time before we can put our winter coats away sadly. This card is made with just one collection which is one of my all time favorites “Life by the Sea” both cards are the same size about 8,5″ inches tall and 4,5″ inches wide.

Goodmorning Maja fans,

Oh how I love my beautiful Maja Design papers…..today I’d like to show you a little card with handmade flowers and a lot of bling which is totally not me but I loved making this card. This card is made out of four different collections but my base was the pretty “Summertime” collection. This is a card I made for my mother for the upcoming mothers day hihihi yes I am pretty early this time….

It’s a easel card made out of cream card stock and the flowers are made out of dies and I finished them off with some glass glitter and some mica powder to give it more shine. Also I added some bling swirls, some shine spray & cream prills.

I’m going to be an Aunt <3

Hello Everyone 🙂

Today it is my turn to present one project for Maja Design.

The project I’m going to show you today is one project I created 25 August, but because of bad images, the time was never right, it never got published. But today it’s time, and you know what is funny is that these images are the first pictures I took of the project.

You know I’m going to be a Aunt, for the first time in February next year <3 But to tell you how this project started, we need to go some months back. My sister called me at the start of August to tell me she was pregnant, and the due date is February the 18. She also told me that she wanted to tell it in a very special way, in fact she whant to tell it with a specal project. How this project was going to be, it was all up to me, but it had to be a calendar on it, since we not at that time knew if it was a boy or a girl, the project had to be in neutral colors.

I liked the idea right away, I liked it alot, and that this is not a project you see each day. What is special about this box is that this is the first project I make to my aunt children <3

For this box I’ve used paper from two different Maja Design collections. Vintage Romance and Vintage Spring Basics. I have chosen out those sheets in a gray and bright tone.

Vintage-Romance-P

Vintage-Spring-Basics-P

After I had covered the box with pattern sheets, I attached silver feet below the box, glue on buttons and pearl ribbon on the sides and the edges.

On the lid of the box I made one plateau, this I did because it would be easier to decorate and put things I create in 3D and other details.

On two of the sides I have decorated with one locomotive (my own tutorial), an elephant that I found in a folding book for children, butterflies, flowers, buttons, pearls, cheese cloth and blocks.

On the other two sides, I have many of the same details, but here I have one 3D plane (put together with my own turorial) and a Giraffe folded from the same children book that the elephant.

Atop of the plateau i have a easel that I have made myself, with a calendar on. Around the due date which is the 18 I have a heart and on the top of the calendar I have written February. February is punched out with one set of dises from kaBoks.

On the side of the calendar are several blocks, these blocks I have used one dies of one train and placed on blocks that I have put together. The other details are pearl and butterflies.

One very special project from me today, that means a lot to me that I got to make it <3 <3 <3

And before I quit my blog post, I would like once again to say congratulations to my sister and the great man she is with <3  You’re going to be a great dad and mom to a little boy coming in February <3

Hello Maja Friends, it’s Elena here today.a

Fall has come and I feel the necessity for the mature bright and dark colors. That’s why I made a couple of cards inspired by the season.

Fika_Cards_by_Cards_Olinevich_Maja_Design7

I used Fika collection  – so cozy and sweet.

Fika_Cards_by_Cards_Olinevich_Maja_Design5

Purple , chocolate and green hues remind me about fogs, harvest and Indian summer.

Fika_Cards_by_Elena_Olinevich_Maja_Design4

I added some crochet lace and canvas ribbon , just a few flowers.

However to make it look more cozy I made stitching on paper layers.

So when it is chilling outside, it’s a good chance to invite your friend for a cup of tea or coffee.
