Hello out blog fans. Have you seen the new mood board challenge? This time we have a great color palette for you.  I decided to create an Easter Card. It’s time of the year when I used to create some cards for my mum. She will use them and send to friends living far away. I really love to create Easter Card. Do you like it too? Hope you will like my project. I’m looking forward to seeing your creations.  Have a lovely day, Paulina

Hello Maja friends!

We are still waiting for spring, maybe the easter bunny will bring it along 🙂

Let’s hope for the best!

Three rabbits hid on this spring project, have you already discovered her?

Maybe there are four 😉 ??

I used our wonderful latest ‘Celebration’ collection for this romantic vintage layout.

I love the delicate colours on this sheets, absolutely right for me to create a springtime layout

with a lot of things which make this season so beautiful.

I glued this on a canvas und used it as mural for my springtime home decoration.

a background stencil from Prima with white gesso and green metallic wax

Springtime clear stamps from Viva Decor and chipboards from Scrap FX

beautiful pastel flowers from Prima

a little wooden bird house together with some eggshells under the … 😉 ??

gauze, cutting dies – leaves and butterflies

vintage clockfaces (cut out) from paper sheet No XVI from Vintage Autumn Basics

I wish you and your loved ones a peaceful and
happy easter with a lot of sunshine and warmth!

Glad Påsk!

Hello our blog fans 😉 Time flies, definitely  ! It is the last moment to create some card for Easter 🙂 Hope you have found some time to do it already … I need to hurry up …. Here are my first two card for this occasion :

DSC_6893   I started to create my project by choosing the paper and add-ons. My idea was to create a little bit unsual  cards – that’s why you will not find Easter eggs there 🙂

EasterFor the base I used the “Mono Straw Wheat” from Monochromes  Collection. These papers fits perfectly to the other collections!  Next one was Vintage Spring Basics with the amazing pastel and floral patterns.

EasterEasterDSC_6884Hope you will like my project. I would like to wish all of you HAPPY EASTER that is filled with plenty of love and happiness :*

Hello dear friends! This time I will show you the early easter cards that I have prepared. When I saw this match in between the chipboards design and Maja Design papers, I just saw this card in my imagination so clearly and then I was off to create! I decided to go with the yellow accent on my first card and stitched the cards with the yellow threads as well.

easter2_petzer_vintage_spring_basicsBoth chipboards in my cards are from Wycinanka and I left them in their natural look.easter2_petzer_vintage_spring_basics_det1and another Easter card:

lots of layers of lace here, many beads, etc…

Hello Maja fans, it’s Maja welcoming you to our blog on this beautiful sunny spring day (at least here in Poland 😉 )

Can you believe Easter is in two weeks’ time?! High time to send you Easter cards to your family and friends 🙂 For a couple of past years some of my Easter cards are egg-shaped. Usually I make them colourful like real eggs we dye and take to church for a blessing on Easter Saturday, but this year I went all pastel and vintage and I love how they turned out 🙂

mdeaseggI used papers from the Spring and Summer Vintage Basics collections. First I cut out egg shapes using a chipboard template, distressed the edges, stamped some chicken wire pattern here and there and added flourishes using a mask and gesso (I prefer it to texture paste as it dries more quickly):

mdeasegg1Then I traced the lower half of the egg shape again on flowery papers and tore them freely to form an edge like that of a crackled egg. I machine-sewed the oval, tied delicate lace across and glued to the egg:

mdeasegg2I folded out the torn edge and tucked in flowres and sisal:

mdeasegg3And finally I placed the die-cut cross decorated with pearls and a tattered sentiment banner:

mdeasegg4Of course, the eggs open like regular cards, so it’s easy to write in some Easter wishes 🙂

mdeasegg5Supplies:

Maja papers: Vintage Spring Basics: 1st of March; Vintage Summer Basics: 1933, 1922, 1946

Other: stamps: Bo Bunny, Lemonade; flowers: Prima, my stash; mask: Prima, pearl brads: Craftmania, dies: Spellbinders, Sizzix; sisal, lace: from my stash

I hope you like my egg-shaped cards – thank you for visiting the Maja blog today, drop in tomorrow as well 🙂
