Christmas Gift Idea

Hello Maja Friends,

1 day left and we will meet Winter and the most busy month of the year December.

It is never too early to start your Christmas preparations

Since I make some sweet gift for my friends and put the chocolate inside the cards, I decided to create simple boxes to hold the chocolate bars

I cut out the images of the lady from the brand new Holiday in the Alpes collection

I like this silver – blue – white palette I chose , it’s more traditional for me since my childhood and reminds me the heavy snow we had many many years ago in Belarus

So I used mostly white embellishments – crochet, flowers and and some silver accents.

Hello Maja Friends,

it’s Elena here today to share a few cards made for the men.

Actually it’s a challenge for me to create something not feminine, with no flowers and no fussy cutting. But Denim & Friends collection is something that you can easy craft

I used the Snaphots images and combined the patterned papers with the Monochromes for my background and die cuts.

I like it’s Warn Denim feeling with the classy dots, stripes and plaid patterns.

I\ve just added the stitching to look it more “handmade”

Hello Maja Fans,

Fall is here. My favorite season, but I am still reviewing the memories of this summer. So here is my Layout that I made with the shot taken last days of August.

I like spending the time at our country side house . The flowers and plants there inspire me for a long dull winter days, so I decided to create stamped poppies and colored them with Copics

I mixed different collections there and focused mostly on the smooth colors of green , red and yellow.

I also made some die cutting using Maja papers to create the leaves for my stamped flowers.

It was easy to make choosing the olive and chest nut tones for the die cuts.

Hope my today\s post will warm you if the weather is rainy and foggy .

Hello Maja Fans,

The summer is almost over and I can’t believe that it has gone so fast. I tell it to myself each year, actually.

Well, when talking about the Summer I always think about the flowers. and this time Chamomiles are my focus.

I found such a matching paper sheet for my idea – from Coffee in the Arbor collection – White Daisies and draw the flowers on the background with acrylics.
