Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

The weather has been quite unsteady recently, with cold wind, freezing rain and snow mixed with beautiful sunshine, which is rather typical for this time of the year in Poland ๐Ÿ™‚ And so it happens that I’m sharing a winter-time layout on a beautiful spring day! But even though I used a photo taken during Christmas and a winter collection, Holiday in the Alps, with Maja papers characteristic versatility it’s all universal.

I first applied some handwriting pattern with a stencil and gold pearl paste upon the background Monochrome paper and then added a layered cluster of paper pieces and hand-made tags to mat the photo:

I added some flowers in between the layers and some epoxy stickers that perfectly match the stencil paste. Then I arranged the title with alpha stickers mounted on foam:

I completed the page with some metal and art clay elements and sequins for a bit of subtle glam:

I often use flowers in boy layouts and so I did here and I think it still looks pretty masculine ๐Ÿ™‚ What do you think?

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stencil: Agateria; paste: Stamperia; flowers: Blue Fern Studios, Wild Orchid Crafts; metal pieces: Mitform; stickers: October Afternoon, Heidi Swapp; sequins: DpCraft.

That’s all for today, have a nice weekend and stay safe!

I Love You

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog!

Today I bring you another love inspiration – though not about a romantic love, yet all the same beautiful ๐Ÿ™‚

I made the layout using the Holiday in the Alps collection. I first applied heart garland pattern upon the background paper and then arranged the matting cluster of layered papers, hand cut tags and filigree chipboard doilies.

I added roses, a clock button and chipboard key and title word embossed with gold ep.

I finished my page off with metallic red pearls and matte gold sequins.

Here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Desgin papers:

Other: stencil, chipboard pieces: Agateria; glitter paste: Pentart; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; punch: DP Craft; button: Prosvet.

I really like how the layout turned out, bright and cheerful, and I really how the versatility of Maja papers which can be used for various themes regardless of the collection theme!

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!

Wonderful Christmas Time

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today!

I’m very happy to post today, on Christmas Eve, which for many people is an important prelude to one of the two most significant holidays of the year. This evening many of us will sit at a festive table of the Christmas Eve supper with their loved ones to share meal, joy and peace. This is for me the true meaning of Christmas: being together in a greateful celebration of God’s love and our families’ love. And this is what my today’s layout is about: being together in joy and peace ๐Ÿ™‚

For my page I used papers of the Traditional Christmas collection. First I layered torn pieces of papers to create a patchwork-like colourful background for the photo I put in the centre and decorated with a cluster of poinsettias, leaves and snowflakes. I also added some hand-cut tags, an elf image and finished it all with liquid enamel drops to imitate snow falling:

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Magnolia, Craft&You Design; glitter die-cuts: BoBunny; accrylic snowflakes: Making Memories; enamel dots: Daily Art.

This page shows what I love about Christmas: family time, often with those of us whom we don’t see for most of the year. But we must also think of so many of us who will not be able to do that due to pandemic restrictions that in many countries forbid to gather together. Such times remind us what is most important in our lives: family, love, togetherness – and perhaps we need difficult times to keep this in mind?

I do hope you’d be able to celebrate Christmas with your loved ones and that the New Year will bring us all the change for better. I wish that for you and for myself! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

Simply the Best

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

In my last post I shared a baby girl layout using the Little Street Cafe collection. I also claimed it’s quite easy to use any Maja collection for any theme. And so I have challenged myself to create a boy page with this romantic, vintage and feminine collection. Here’s the result ๐Ÿ™‚

Just as in my previous post, I followed the photo colour combo and opted for a monochromatic selection of background papers. Iย  chose orange hues (surprising as it was for me!) that perfectly match the brick wall in the photo. I repeated the motive with a stencil and white structure paste…

…and referred to my boys’ black t-shirts with black mold elements and stamping. A range of matching flowers as well as black stones and matte gold sequins complete the look.

For the title I used a chipboard piece that I embossed with glossy black ep:

I think it turned out really cool, casual and cheerful ๐Ÿ™‚ But what do you think?

Here are my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: chipboard: Scrapiniec; stamps: Heidi Swapp, aliexpress; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima; stones, stencil, resin flowers: Prima; mold: Prosvet; sequins: my stash.

Thank you for visiting the blog today! Don’t forget to return soon for more inspiration ๐Ÿ™‚

Good morning, Maja Fans, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m sure you have already seen our latest release, the Holiday In The Alps collection! 18 gorgeously vintage patterns, introducing the winter season with Christmas images and scenes of winter holidays in the Alps, feature only 3 colours, but still give rich and varied background for you winter and Christmas projects. But not only! Just take a look at my today’s layout:

Not a sign of winter, Christmas or even sports ๐Ÿ˜€ I used theme-neutral patterns to create this fun boy page with photos of my godson.

I layered three papers, tow of them hand-torn to create uneven, distressed edges and on that background I placed my photos and decorated them with flowers and metal embellishments:

I die-cut the title word in glitter foam and placed it upon a chipboard heart:

As a finishing touch I added some buttons here and there and splashed the layout with white acrylic paint.

I really like the way it turned out, light and cheerful ๐Ÿ™‚ What do you think?

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: die: My Favourite Things; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; metal embellishments: mitform; chipboard: scrap.com.pl

Are you going use this collection for Christmas/winter projects only, or do you tend to use themed collections for other occasions too?

Hugs!
