Hi there! And welcome to today’s post. I have used the wonderful “Life by the Sea” collection, and made two maritime cards with them. They are perfect for summer cards. And we have such lovely summer days here in Norway at the moment, so I am enjoying every minute outside.
The image is from Magnolia, and is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers. Here are the papers I have used: Sailing, Seaside cottage, Morning swim.
And now for the second card I have made. I have matched up the red and the blue papers, and tried to also match Tilda from Magnolia in those red colours. She is so cute collecting her sea shells at the beach.
The image is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers.
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose (cheeks: mix with Tattered Rose, Aged Mahogany). I have also added Tea Dye (Markers) under her forelock).
Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Dress: Scattered Straw, Frayed Burlap (Markers)
Bucket/hair ribbon/sandals: Aged Mahogany, Black Soot.
Here are the papers used: Marina Hovering, Islands and skerries, A day at sea.
The beautiful flowers I have used are from I am roses, Magnolia and Kort & Godt. I wish you all a lovely Sunday and many more lovely summer days to come!
Baby card
6 Write a commentIt is Sunday and my time to host the Maja Design blog! This time I have used the beautiful Maja Design paper from The wonderful collection Life by the Sea. It is called Morning Swim, and I have used both sides.
I have made a baby card for a friend of mine who gave birth to a beautiful baby boy just before Christmas. She lives in another part of Norway, but will be home for Winter holiday this week, and I am looking so much forward to meet her and her baby! And of course I had to have a card for him.
I have used flowers from Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts and Petaloo. The flowerberries are from Kort og Godt. Behind the cute image from Magnolia I have put some cheese cloth and a doily.
I have cut out two Tilda Tags from Magnolia’s DooHickeys and put them in a small pocket.
The image is coloured with Distress Ink, markers and reinkers. The whole card is made with a Go Kreate Die.
Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
