Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today!

The wedding season is slowing down a bit, but still the wedding bells can be heard each Saturday ๐Ÿ˜‰ And so it is reasonable to have a stock of wedding cards and gifts at hand. Therefore for my today’s post I decided to make a wedding exploding box for those who wish to complete their wishes with some cash too ๐Ÿ™‚

I combined two collections in the box, and they are both perfect not only because of beautiful colours and elegant patterns, but also because of their names! Mix Vintage Romance with Celebration and you have a perfect wedding project.

I matched the flowers I used for the box with the printed ones of the Engagement sheet.

Inside the box are the usual slots for money – the sentiments say: for the crib, for the shared nest and for the journey of your dreams – as well as the space for writing in wishes:

The filigree chipboard cake I used perfectly matches the flourishes of the papers! I decorated it with mini flowers and satin ribbon:

And how do you give cash presents to the newlyweds? Just an envelope or something more elaborate?

Here’s what I used to make the exploding box romantic and flowery:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard cake: Wycinanka.pl; dies: Crealies; ribbons, cheesecloth, pearls: my stash.

And that is all for today, thank you for visiting the blog and feel welcome to drop by any time to find more inspiration ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello Sweeties,

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new project featuring the Celebration collection. I’m made two mini albums.

Mini Mini by Pascale B.

The base of each album is a single sheet of paper, here I used the Mono Celebration collection.

The mini album had 3 pockets.

To close the mini album, I decorated a strip of paper with a little resin frame and some flowers I’ve punched.

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to our blog!

Today I am going to celebrate with you ๐Ÿ™‚ And therefore I have some birthday cards:

And what better collection to use for such festive cards than our own Celebration? ๐Ÿ™‚ I mixed papers from the regular and small pads.

The first card features a sweet cupcake:

I layered purple and beige papers and used the rich dark brown floral paper for the background, matting the die-cut cupcake with a contrasting sand Monochrome sheet. I added matching polka dot ribbon and a metal charm in the shape of a teapot. Here’s the birthday tea party ๐Ÿ™‚

The stamped sentiment says in Polish: A lot of happiness and sweetness. How fitting!

For the second card I used a dreamcatcher motif:

For this card I selected the blue papers of the collection and composed the dreamcatcher combining a doily and feather dies:

I also added vintage ribbon and a button and finished off the design with gem stones, pearls and glitter:

I made the third card to…well, use up the leftovers ๐Ÿ˜‰

I used the tiniest bits to punch the doily border and die-cut the banners. Then I used larger pieces to make the background:

The patterned papers make the beauty of the card, so other decorative elements include only flowers, pearl border and some delicate stamping:

Here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Marianne Design, X-cut; punch: Martha Stewart; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; stamps: Lemonade, the ScrapBerry’s; bling, pearls: Creative Expressions; glitter: Ranger, Nuvo.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m still playing with our latst release, the Celebration collection – it’s so versatile and elegant that your creative process is just pure pleasure ๐Ÿ™‚ And here’s the card I created:

This time I focused on the blue shades of the collection and chose the classy Art Deco swirls of the Festivities sheet for my background. Then I delicately brushed glitter paste along its edges and I matted it with a Monochrome paper in matching colour and a delicate polka dot Party paper.

I arranged my composition of flowers and art clay wings in the centre:

I stamped my sentiment onto a strip of vellum and heat-embossed it with golden ep. I also added glittery drops. liquid pearls dots and cheesecloth to finish my card:

The card turned out pretty dimensional, therefore I added a cardstock card box decorated with gold metallic washi tape with a dots pattern:

I really like the way it turned out, light and delicate, perfect for a romantic soul ๐Ÿ™‚

And here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Prima; stamp: Lemonade; embossing powder: Ranger; glitter paste: Creative Expressions; wings, glitter drops, cheesecloth: my stash.

And that is all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later ๐Ÿ™‚

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

Today is St. Valentine’s Day, a celebration of love and devotion. What a better way to celebrate love and devotion than a marriage? And what a better way to celebrate a marriage than to use the Celebration collection? ๐Ÿ™‚ And so I combined the two and created this wedding exploding box:

Perhaps the colour palette I chose is not a typical wedding set of colours, but they look so elegant to me! For the outer sides I decided on the dark brown roses pattern and added a mauve-sand flower cluster on the top lid:

Traditionally, inside walls are decorated with delicate patterned papers and have little theme pockets to put money gifts into: for a new house, for a honey moon, for a crib and the fourth wall is for writing in wishes:

In the centre I placed an intricate chipboard cake that I decorated with a lace bow and mini roses in matching colours:

I really like the way the box turned out, elegant and light! What do you think?

And here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; dies: Spellbinders; chipboard: Wycinanka.pl, ribbon, lace: my stash.

And that’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!
