Hi all Maja Design Fans! I am back with a new card with the beautiful Fika Collection. The name of the papers are: Kladdkaka Sockerkaka and Två Frøknar. For the green swirl I have used the paper Kitchen Garden from the Life in the Country Collection.

All the paper edges are inked with Distress Ink pad- Walnut Stain, and sewed with sewing machine.

Fika-P1 010

The image is a Saturated Canary stamp called Gardening Gayle. I have coloured her up with Distress Ink – re-inker and Markers. The main coloures are a mix with Victorian Velvet and Dusty Concord (the purple colour) and for the greenish colour I have used Frayed Burlap. As you might see I have also added a lot of spots on the image and around her. These are made with Liquid Pearls-Bisque.  I have added the Liquid Pearls on the Scallop Ovals that frames the image and the text. And also on the Dragonflise (DooHickey’s from Magnolia). 053

Over is a closer look at the Dragonflies. I have cut them out two times from the gorgeous Maja Design papers. Then they get two sets of wings. I have used the paper called Sockerkaka for the first layer, and Två Frøknar for the upper layer.057

The lovely sentiment is a stamp from Stempelglede (Just a Note Collection). Around the image I have stamped with another stamp from Stempelglede called the Vintage Garden Collection.016

The largest roses are from I am Roses. Swirl and flowerberries are from Magnolia, and the buds and smaller roses are from Wild Orchid crafts.

I was inspired by the March Mood board for my card. I just adore the Fika collection, and the warm and cozy colours in it.MoodBoardMarch

I really hope you enjoyed my card for today. Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design Blog!Camilla-sign

For my birthday on Friday I got some amazing gifts with new embellishments.  And I have put some of my new beauties on this card. The metal heart and the pearl string were some of them.

014

And also this cool pocket to put tags in. The tags and the butterflies are made with DooHickey dies from Magnolia.

The image is also from Magnolia and is called Tilda with Love. She is coloured with Distress Ink and Distress Markers. I have also added Stickles-Star Dust Liquid Pearls-Bisque and Crackle Accents to the image. The poststamp is from Kort&Godt.

All the papers are inked with Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain, and I have sewed them with my sewing machine.

067Hi there! I hope you are having a lovely Sunday so far!

On Thursday evening the snow came here where I live in Norway. Everything lightens up, and I am sure many enjoy the fun things you can do in the snow:) I was inspired to make a card with the snow theme.

Norway is a country where they say that we are born with ski on:) And it is a really popular sport for everyone in all ages. When I was a little girl I was out in the snow all the time, and loved skiing. This year we haven’t had much snow, you have to go up in the mountains. But it has been really nice skating weather, with ice on all the small lakes and waters here.

010I wanted to make it a bit feminine to all the blue winter colours, and added the purple colour to the papers and image.

The papers I have used are from the lovely Maja Design collections:

Fika-P1 Wintage-vinter-P

Fika: Lejas cafè

Vintage Winter: Winter Wonderland, Winter Night024

I want to show you some of the details on my Easel Card. It has been a while since I made an Easel Card, and it was really fun to make one again.028

The image from Magnolia is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers. Here you can see the whole card.

The ribbon is a seem binding ribbon which I have coloured with Distress Ink reinker-Faded Jeans, Opalite and water to make it match the blue colours in the Maja Design paper. I curled it up good with my hands and laid it to dry for some hours. When it is dry it looks really crispy and vintage, like you can see here.052 Supplies:

Papers: Maja Design: Fika-Lejas Cafè, Vintage Winter-Winter Wonderland, Winter Night, Bazzill-Vanilla, Kraft Cardstock. Stamps: Magnolia, Stempelglede. Ink & colouring: Archival Ink-Jet Black, Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain, Distress Ink-Reinkers & Markers, Crackle Paint-Picket Fence, Rock Candy, Stickles-Star Dust, Crackle Accents, Panduro-Snow Paint. Dies: Magnolia, Spellbinders, Martha Stewart and Tim Holtz. Other: Cheese Cloth, Doily, Seem Binding Ribbon, Wild Orchid Crafts-flowers, metal corner. All paper edges are sewed with sewing machine.

Thank you so much for visiting, and be sure to be back soon because my teammates really rocks!! You don’t want to miss out on anything!:)Camilla-sign
