Hi everyone! Here I am back with a confirmand card using the lovely Summer Crush papers. With doilies and a straw.

It is Confirmand-time here in Strandebarm now. And here comes one of the cards I have made. I just love the images in the Summer Crush collection. And this is just so beautiful and dreamy. And a perfect match to the papers.

I have cut out the “Konfirmant” text with a die from Papirdesign using the Maja dotted paper.

The flowers are from Petaloo and Wild Orchid Crafts. I have places sissal grass behind them. And some cheese cloth behind the image.

And here is the back of the lollipop, to write a greeting on.

Here is the list of papers used:

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today!

With love,

Hello dear Maja fans,

It’s my time again to make a blogpost for you . This time I bring you a 4x4inch mini album.

For this album I used one of my favorite papers Summer crush. I just love the soft colors it reminds me of long warm summers .

I could use it while I was making this album  because we had very cold weather at the time.

I made some pockets with blank labels in it that  can be used for journalling or maybe an extra picture.

on the front cover I glued a jar lid as a frame and filled it with some cheesecloth, tiny pearlstring , flowers and a heart.

I used my bind it all to bind all the pages together and tied a baby blue ribbon and white lace unto it to make it complete.

Now sit back and enjoy my album, I must warn you there are quite a of pictures to see.

I hope you enjoy it and that I gave you some inspiration to create your own mini album or some other creation with these wonderful papers.

Have fun.

there is beauty in simplicity

Hello our blog fans. Today I would like to show totally different card. Easy to make and simple. Not all of us like to create projects full of layers, flowers etc. Some prefer simple projects. It doesn’t mean that they are boring – just take a look and let’s create something with me step by step.

  1. Find the chipboard and choose the papers – they need to fit together
  2. Use the white embossing powder to your chipboard
  3. Cut out all the elements from the paper, create the basic composition.
  4. Use the sewing machine and add a bit of elegance to your card.5. If you like – find a simple add ons. Glue everything together and then add some white and black splashes.
  5. You card is ready. Isn’t it lovely ? Hope you will like my today’s inspiration. If you have any question – do not hesitate ask. Used chipboard came from Scrapiniec . Have a lovely day, Paulina

Hello our blog friends. My today’s proposal is a notebook made with the Summer Crush Collection. I think this notebook will stay with me for a little longer….

Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade DSC_0597I love every single details of these papers. It is already second paper-set used by me. I keep every single element to use for cut some leafs or tiny circles. I will not write how I compose all layers cause this time it’s not so difficult. Simple but at the same time spectacular. I’m rally happy with the final result and the most important thing for me is to have fun. We create for enjoyment  – remember it. Of course we have some trends … but try to follow  your heart and keep a projects in your style.

Memories never fade… do you agree ?

Here comes a Confirmand card I made to my friends son. And I have used papers and image from the Summer Crush collection for this one. I think the papers have really sharp and cool colours, which fits sporty young people 🙂 It is my son (three years) who is holding the card on the photo above.

Here comes some more pictures of the lollipop card:

The lollipop cards ar fun to make, and they are faster to make than my ordinary cards. Here comes a closeup.

The text #konfirmant is written on my computer and printed out. I have used my sewing machine and sewed the paper edges. They are also inked with Distress ink – reinkers.
