Hi everyone! Hope you are fine. Here I am back with a wedding card I have made. I have used the lovely papers from the Vintage Romance collection.

Under you can see that I have cut out several love letters from the paper named “Walk with me”.

The image from Magnolia is coloured with Distress Ink. And it looks so nice together with the romantic and lovely papers.

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

While our summer Moodboard palette is absolutely gorgeous and up to my taste (check out the previous post!), for my today’s post I changed the colours entirely to go pinky mauve for a wedding. It’s been ages since I’ve made an envelope card and I thought I might as well make one 😉 But as Maja papers are nicely thick and sturdy, they aren’t perfect for a classic heavily folded envelope form. Therefore, I cheated a bit and made a card using only half of the sheet. And here it is:

I cut the She’s My Lady paper from the Vintage Romance collection diagonally and used the half with the fan in the corner, which is almost invisible and therefore suited for a wedding card. Using only half a paper made the same side of the paper to be the outside part and thus the flowery border around the page made a beautiful trim in front of the card 🙂 I sewed the bottom part and decorated the flap:

Inside the envelope I placed a writing cardstock piece that I decorated with a stamped and embossed ornament. I also embossed the wedding rings on the plate that masks the ribbon on the flap:

I really like the way the card turned out and how the patterns on the paper provided a beautiful background!

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; butterflies: Prima, home&you; stamps: Lemonade, Inkadinkado; ribbon, pearls: my stash.

Thank you for visiting the blog today, drop by tomorrow for more inspiration!

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely Easter. Today I will show you a card I made as a Guest DT for Ett Trykk in the February issue. I have used papers from the gorgeous collection Vintage Romance.

The image image is from Magnolia. And I have used Memento ink – Rich Cocoa to stamp it with. I think the image get softer when I use brown ink instead of black. And then gets a romantic touch that fits theses Maja papers well. The postmark stamp is from Stempelglede.

For my colouring I have used Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers. Around the image I have added some liquid pearls from Rangers. I have also added some White Gesso here and there.

The lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. And the big white one is called English rose, I think it is my favourite flower!

Around the image I have used dies from Spellbinders. Other than that the dies are from Magnolia. Like the heart, smal book, banner, and the shape of the card.

Under the flowers I have placed some Sissal grass. And I have also some cheese cloth behind the image.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Here is the list of papers used:

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I have recently had the pleasure of making a sweet birthday card for a sweet girl.

I used mostly Denim & Friends papers as they matched the colours from the photo most perfectly. I added just a touch of the Vintage Summer pink in the background:

I have die-cut the embellishments from the papers, such as the cute heart banners and the number flag:

I stamped the cute beart with a heart, coloured it and paper-pieced the heart using a scrap of the Vintage Romance heart-patterned paper. I then added a small letter “O” for the girl’s name:

I also added plaid ribbon and some mini flowers and cute white pom-poms as the finishing touch.

And I think the card symbolises the 9-year-old girls quite accurately: still cute, but not too much 😉 What do you think?

Here are my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Marianne Design, Craft Passion; stamp: ScrapBerry’s; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; ribbon: Rayher, pom-poms: my stash.

Before I bid you goodbye, I’d like to wish you a joyous Easter filled with the warmth of love and kindness 🙂

See you soon!
