Hello Sweeties
Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with this photo taken during a recent trip to Barcelona.

Bisbe_Pascale

I started by adding some black gesso with a sponge, then some big splatters of white diluted gesso.

Bisbe_detail1_Pascale

While the background dried, I covered the chipboard with some graphite paste.

Bisbe_detail2_Pascale

I die cut the leaves in assorted papers, then I put them in shape after shading them.

Bisbe_detail3_Pascale

I colored the flowers with some Twinkling H2Os.

Hello Sweeties

Today, I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new family photo taken around 1909, I guess, in view of the age of my paternal grand-father and his two sisters.

1909_Pascale

I began my background with watered Gesso, Graphite Paste that I added with a stencil and some Twinkling H2O…

… and to finish some random stamping with two inks.

1909_detail1_Pascale

I dry brushed the flowers with white Gesso in order to give them a faded look.

I painted the chipboards with several colors of Twinkling H2Os before covering them with a clear crackle paste.

And to finish, I added some Glass Glitters and beads.

Hello Sweeties,

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new layout about a busy little bee. I take this photo in the beautiful garden ot the Abbey of Fontevraud (France).

Bee_Pascale

I started to glue some strips of paper from the Vintage Spring collection on the background. Then I added some big splatters of watered Gesso. When dry, I added also some splatters of purple colors.

Bee_detail0_Pascale

I let completly dry all the paints before adding some tiny dots with a gold crackle paste.

Bee_detail1_Pascale

I die-cut the leaves in a coordinated papers and used Twinling H2Os to color the flowers.

Bee_detail2_Pascale

I used the same colors of Twinklings H2O to color the lace flowers and I used the same colors of Twinklings H2O to color the lace flowers and I added small touches of gold with some Glass Glitters and Mica Powder..

Bee_detail3_Pascale

I stamped the wings of the bees on a a recycled plastic, the body on a paper that I colored afterward. I glued all together with Glossy Accent that I used to cover the body too.

To finish my layout, I added some random stamping with two differents colors, a black ink and white Gesso.

Hello Sweeties,

I’m up on Maja Design blog today with two Birthday cards.

Birthday_Pascale

I chose one of the paper as a base for my card. Then I glued some scrap of papers after distressing them. I added a doily die-cut in a matching paper.

Birthday_Detail2_Pascale

I painted the bookplate with a mix of Mica Powder and soft matte medium before covering it with clear crackle paste.

Birthday_Detail3_Pascale

I added some flowers and leaves. I used purple and teal Mica Powders to color the bookplate and the background and added different ingredients such as Glass Glitter, Mica Flakes, Glitter with a soft matte gel.

Birthday_Detail4_Pascale

I stamped the one of the paper with a leaves design and cut them. After gluing the doily, the flowers and the leaves with 3D matte gel, I added some white crackle paste that I colored with some Mica Powders.

It’s a boy …

BabyBoy_Pascale

It’s really a simple thing to do. The papers are so beautiful that you just need to cut some of papers, glue them together and well add some flowers … Well I can’t help myself: I’m a flower girl.

BabyBoy_detail1_Pascale

Each Maja Design paper  has a border that is really nice. I cut the cute elephant border from the “Special Delivery” paper to add to my card.

It’s a girl …

BabyGirl_Pascale

Like the baby Boy card, I just glue different papers together, add a few flowers, one or two wood embellishments and that’s all.
