Hi Maja fans! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. In Holland spring has finally arrived and the sun is shining brightly. But I have to admit that even on these sunny days, I love to spend some time inside behind my desk playing with my favourite Maja Design goodies. For today’s project I worked with the gorgeous ‘Vintage Summer Basics’ papers. This is the ‘Thank you’ card that I made with them.

Thank You

I used white cardstock as the base of my card and layered three rectangles cut out from three different sheets of paper on top of them. I then cut a doily with my Big Shot and adhered it in the right upper corner of my card. With a vintage swirl, a sentiment rub-on, two clocks and a resin bird I made an embellishment cluster on the right side. Finally I cut out some of the gorgeous butterflies from the ‘Vintage Spring Basics’ collection as well.Thank You 2 Don’t you just love the versatility of the Maja Design papers? What I really love about their collections is that each collection has a wide variety of papers in different colours. For this card I choose a few papers in pink and grey tones to create a very feminine card. But you could also go for a blue/brown combination with this same collection to achieve a more masculine look.Thank You 3Supplies:
