Hi friends! What a pleasure it is to be blogging today! In a funny sort of a way, it feels as though I am able to share Christmas with all of you, even if in a small blogland-type of a way!

I hope you and your families have all had a wonderful Christmas! I cannot believe how quickly the holidays crept up this year, and how quickly we will be celebrating the start of the New Year. It seems like only yesterday that I joined this incredible team of talent. But you know what they say, right? Time goes by quickly when you’re having fun! And boy, what fun I’ve had! I have spent the most wonderful year alongside some incredibly talented artists, designing with THE most beautiful paper. It really is hard for me to say goodbye, but I know that the 2014 Maja team is packed full of incredibly sweet and talented ladies, and that it will be yet another year of beautiful creations for you all to enjoy.

As for me, I am excited to try something a little different, and step down from designing, to focus more on other passions, like photography! I will, however, be sharing more “unofficial” Maja projects for as long as I have the beautiful paper to create with, so please come visit me when you have the time!

For today, I am sharing my latest creations with the beautiful new Vintage Frost Basics collection.

I hope they bring a little Christmas cheer your way!

I love this brand new collection, and how easy it is to create with the gorgeous designs. Each paper is full of vintage Christmas images, making it super duper easy to whip up some Christmas cards in no time at all. I rarely felt that I needed to add extra embellishments, which was perfect, as most of my scrappy goodies were tucked away in storage!

On each card, I used a mixture of papers, a bit of decorative tape. some of my favorite dies, and a few holiday stamps.

For a bit of added texture, I tucked in some felt, and a tad of pretty, shabby lace.

I also wanted to add a bit of sparkle, as it is so very appropriate for the holidays. So I added some sequin trim and a sparkly star pin.

On this next card, I added a little handmade bow, which is just the perfect little three-dimensional element.

Just under the bow, a few little stamped holly berries and boughs add yet another little festive touch.

Supplies Used: Maja Design Paper (6th of December, Christmas Die-Cuts, Days of December), Papertrey Ink Dies (Filigree Border, Heart Border, Half-n-Half Dies), My Favorite Things Dies (Spring Wreath, Christmas Ornaments), Papertrey Ink Stamps (Love Lives Here), Papertrey Ink Dye Ink (Scarlet Jewel),  Felt, Sequins, Pins and Lace from my stash.

Well, it is time for us to continue our Christmas festivities, so I best be getting back to all the fun. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year.

Thank you for a beautiful year of memories!Ivana-sign
