Happy Monday and Happy New Year!..wishing you all the best in the 2014. I’m so happy to stay in the team one more year creating with these gorgeous collections. Today I share with you an altered project, I bought this wood box in my local craft store and gave it a vintage look using the Vintage Summer Basics collection.
I covered the outside of my box with the “1905” paper by Vintage Summer Basics.
I gave an aging look to my box using my distress tool in all the corners and edges, then distress ink to complete the effect.
I added molding paste and a stencil to create more textures.
I covered the inside of my box with the “1891” paper by Vintage Summer Basics collection.
For the top of my box I layered with flowers, doily paper, cheesecloth, jute and pearls.
Supplies: Vintage Summer Basics: 1905 and 1891 papers. Prima flowers, molding paste, gesso, distress ink, cheesecloth, doily paper, pearls.
