It’s a bit late, but here is our latest member of the Maja crew…
A lot of you has already met my son Joel who was born on October 23rd last year. He was 54 cm tall and his weight was 3665 grams. He’s what my sister calls a Sunshine Child. He is always happy and has never heard of tears or sour faces.
I have mainly used 3rd to 6th of April from the Vintage Spring Basics collection for this little presentation. The background was created with 6th of April, Distress Ink and Texture Paste.I have used Prima’s flocked rub ons and bling. Chipboard from Scrapfx, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Edge punch by Martha Stewart.
This truely is my favourite photo of Joel. We were making gingerbreads for Christmas when I picked him up and his eyes were just shining.
The chipboard has been painted with Gesso and Glimmer Glam.A lot of people ask me what kind of pearls I prefer… I like pearl pens of all kinds. I think it’s easier to create beautiful pearls with them instead of the ones that are in bottles. Large pearls pens are preferable since the small ones are harder to get good results with.I just love to use the stripes of the papers. They are very decorative and add an extra touch. The circular shape has been cut out with a Nestabilities die. The paper is from the Vintage Autumn Basics 6×6 paper pad. I created the mask for the background myself and then used Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. The white corner is from a LSS.
