Hi everyone!
Ingrid here today with an altered coffee grinder.
When I found this piece at a flea market it was sooo ugly that the woman at the stand said I was getting it for free! LOL!
It had the most ugly deep dark brown color, but with lots of gesso, some beautiful papers, flowers and lace it turned into a lovely project (at least I think so, lol).
For this project I used the Vintage Autumn Basics collection.
12×12: No.II and No.XVI
Also used some papers from the 6×6″ Paper Pad.
Top view of the grinder.
The mini clocks and the paper underneath come from the 6×6″ Paper Pad.
The large clocks on the sides come from the No.XVI. (just love this cut out clock sheet!)
The sides and bottom strip come from the No.II.
The flowers were colored with some Shimmerz paints to match the papers.
And here is my second project with the same papers, just because….
Made this card with some left over papers I had on my table.
One sheet of the 6×6″ Paper pad is a great size for cards!
Used a template to create the background and splattered some Shimmerz paints in the same colors as the painted flowers.
Also tucked some of the clocks under the flowers and added some beads and microbeads to create some texture.
Just because………it’s always the right time for sending cards, don’t you think?
Other products used: Shimmerz paints, Imaginarium Designs chipboard, Marta Stewart microbeads, mulberry flowers, olive green flower from Dusty Attic, stamens, lace, gesso.
Enjoy your day!
