Hello Sweeties,

Today I have a layout to share with you. I take this photo during the Christmas market in my city. Some  guys were on stilts with some beautiful costumes. I couldn’t resist …

I began by gluing some pieces of paper which I covered with a thin layer of Gesso. When dry, I highlight the papers with some watercolor pencils. Some splatters made with Twinkling H2Os and some random stamping were enough to finish the background.

I heat embossed the butterflies, and when the embossing powder was still hot, I pressed a stamp onto the butterflies to give some texture. I just added a touch of color with a Twinkling H2Os.

I painted the chipboards with black Gesso. To highlight the berries,  I glued tiny scrap of paper.

I cut the leaves in one of the papers used for the background and slightly inked the edge to give them some depth.

Hello, I'm Pascale B. from France. Since I began to scrap, flowers are part of my layouts, and I gradually started to use mixed media as well. I don’t know how to define my style, perhaps something like free vintage shabby style could be a good definition. Visit me at www.pbhobby.blogspot.com
