Maja Design has an amazing group of world wide followers.  We thank you for such heart warming dedication and loyalty.

As a special “Thank You”  to the loyal followers who frequently share their work, we would like to feature a few of the wonderful artists that contribute to the Maja Design Facebook page:   Davinia Wood, Silje Kristin Aunan and Liz Marsden.

I am an English girl living in the Pilbara in Western Australia, pretty remote place! I live with my hubby and two pet hermit crabs. I started craft with wood craft and then discovered the gorgeous papers and stamps and that was it- I was hooked. I love colouring with Copics and Distress Inks. Why do I love Maja?  Well there is paper for everyone, every occasion and every season. It’s literally the most beautiful papers around. So beautiful I sometimes just want to keep them and look at them!!! They are divine. I found out about Maja through other crafty friends, I saw these beautiful papers had a look at their blogs and discovered Maja and have never looked back. I just love creating with these and part of the excitement of creating something new is playing around with these gorgeous papers!

My fave collection….oh heck hard one!…. I think it would have to be between
‘Life by the Sea’ ‘Sofiero’ and all of the Christmas papers!

You can find more of Davinia’s inspiring work on her blog here

I am Silje Kristin Aunan,  age 27,  living in Bodø; a city North
of Norway above the Polar Circle.

I started scrapbooking in November 2013. It all began with a few Christmas tags and cards in 2013 using Maja Design papers. This was and
still is therapy for me. This is my passion, and I spend almost all my spare time producing paper
projects.  As for her love of Maja papers?  Silje says,” To wait for a new collection from Maja Design, is the same as waiting for Christmas presents on Chrismas Eve, Only this is so much better. Sometimes it seems that the sheets are made perfectly for my paper projects.”

I love creating in a Vintage and Shabby Chic style and enjoy making 3D projects and special boxes.  I often challenge myself to make “impossible” paper creations.
“Nothing is impossible” is my mantra.

Silje designs for her local craft store TreL.no, kaBoks, producer of dies, and stamps and a challenge blog, Nordsalten Hobbyklubb.

You can find Silje on her blog here. You’ll also soon see her in the August/September edition of the  Norwegian Craft Magazine, magazine, Ett Trykk .

Silje is absolutely enjoying our two newest collections, Vintage Baby and Summer Crush.

Here are some of here gorgeous and creative pieces using both of those collections.

I would like to thank  Maja Design for the
honour of asking me to be a guest on the Maja Design Blog, how excited am I
!!!!!!!!

I have loved to create since childhood and was always to be
found colouring and  playing with paper etc.  Nothing much has changed, as I still love to colour with distress inks or copics and love to use Maja Design
papers.  They are my all time favourite and the ones I go to first, time and
time again,

My favourite style  is shabby Chic and the Maja Design
papers are perfect for this, the designs, weight, and strength of the
papers mean you can do so much with them, I love to add a little  water to
the edges of my paper to create folds for interest and they take this technique
so well, as seen on my shabby chic card,I also  love to add laces,
chipboard and anything that adds texture to my creations too,

One of my all time  favourite Maja Design collections
was the  Sofiero Limited collection, I loved the designs and colours very
much,  I tend also to use the Vintage Spring and Vintage Autumn Basics
quite a bit too, as  they adapt so easily For boys or girls creations,
