Hello Crafters, it’s Elena here with you today. And I have a Summer Album to share with you today.

Well, new collection – Summer Crush was a worth to wait for it and finally I’ve got tons of inspiration from the papers and the pictures, as a result I created this Light and Full of Air Album. Be ready to watch many photos and a small tutorial too.

I tried really hard to use as many papers as possible, because I love them all and wanted to show all the patterns in once.

I made some flaps and created a surprise card inside. Yes, I decided why not adding the cards into your albums, I think it’s great

here it is:

I like those small vintage pictures, and they help to create a retro feeling exactly

I used some negatives leftover after diecutting

I almost haven’t added dimensional flowers, I stamped and cut them out instead

My third spread is about the cars mostly

though I have added flowers dies and a romantic picture inside

Hello Maja Friends, I’ve got a couple of summer cards made recently.

Though I have used Vintage Spring Basics , they have a summer feeling.

I used almost the same products but turned them the other side

I added some of my favourite embellishments – flowers , dies, lace and ribbons

They are quite simple but so perfect for sending the greeting from a country house.

Hello there, Elena is here with you today.

Such a busy summertime for me this year, I can’t wait for August when I can take a breath and relax. I really need some quiet time just for myself and though this year was extremely hard, I still feel the necessity for tenderness. And here is my layout made for one of my class sample, but I really love it to every bit.

I think this layout reflects the original idea of the papers Marie has created for this collection. Vintage Summer Basics is one of my favourite one, though I am in love with each of them, but when I need to create something feminine and soft I always turn to this one.

It has such a romantic vintage look, absolutely perfect for some old photos or those that you want to keep for ages.

Those roses are shabby and fade enough to tell you a lullaby or a beautiful poem

Anyway I added some paint and stamping, it doesn’t look as a mixed media one.

I hope that you are enjoying your summer days and encourage you to create something soft and delicate too.

Hello Maja Friends,

today I want to share with you a canvas, that I have made for my class sample that I taught last 12 months. I am working right now on some new samples, so I thought that I can post something made for the classes also.

Well, I always tell to my students, that pink is not only for the girls. So I took a picture of my baby boy and worked with grey, coral and pink colors to create this canvas.

My choice was a very stylish Crea Diem collection, really a perfect match for any project. especially when you are adding some paints.

I used dome scraps from the Vintage Summer collection as they have some good expressions too. But the dots and script patterned papers are amazing for creating the layers.

I added some flowers and metal embellishments, great mix for the boy, I guess

I want to thank all the ladies who visited my classes and I hope that you have enjoyed working with absolutely beautiful papers from Maja Design.

Hello Maja Fans. Elena is here with you today and I have a Layout to share with you. I found some funny photos of my little boy and it seems that the Layout turned to be a bit serious one.

I tried to start working with this awesome wooden background from Nyhavn collection. Absolutely great for some texture on the background.

However I used some floral patterned papers to create those heart dies as well as crown papers for some layers.

I added some flowers, well I guess it doesn’t look girly. What do you think?

I also used plane chipboard as an embellishment and colored a bit the background.
