Hello Maja Design Friends,

I’ve got a couple of cards to share with you today – totally inspired by the snow in Winter

Wonderful_Winter_Cards

For my cards I used Vintage Winter collection , my number one among all of the beautiful Maja Christmas papers. Each year I can not pass by and create a bunch of cards with mostly blue colors.

Wonderful_Winter_Cards_01

I like the color combo of white and blue, it seems that I can feel how calm it is when the snow falls down

I’ve added the flowers on my cards, mostly white and silver grey, I guess they add the frosty feeling.

I also die cut the frames from the papers and the glittered cardstock, the snowflakes chipboard that I kept raw and the crochet doily

Hope you have liked my cards and enjoy this special time of the year.

Hello, The winter Season is right behind the corner, I feel. So it’s time to create the snow inspired cards

WinterWonderland_Cards_MajaDesign

Though I don’t like the winter season at all, I like creating the cards this time of the year. I used the Home for The Holdays collection. It reminds me about the heavily snow times we have when I as a child. Now the climate has changed.

I’ve added the die cut ornaments and the chipboard frame

I also added the crochet snowflakes and it really came out cozy and warm

Hello Maja Friends, it’s Elena here to share several cards I made playing with the purple hues.

Lilac_Cards_Maja_Design_Elena

Each time the leaves left the trees, and the landscape is dull and grey around, I start to look for some bright colors, and I’ve noticed each November I turn to lilac and purple hues.

For my cards I used Enjoying Outdoors collection, so rich and so beautiful for the mature Autumn Season.

I made a lot f die cutting and used the pearlescent gold and white cardstock for my die cuts

They pop up on the purple background, you can notice

However I added the white and pale pink flowers, I wanted my cards to be feminine and soft

I made 3 more cards using the other one sketch

But actually I used the same die shapes for my paper layering

I like adding the pearls as the finish touch to my frames

Hello Maja Friends,

Today I’ve got a few cards to share with you that I made using Walking in the Forest collection

I started making the cards and thought that I would make something floral with bright colors, but then I saw the worn jeans and plaid patterns and changed my mind. I decided to try something for the male

I found some dies in my stash – the royal crowns and the key holes and realized that they would be a perfect match for my cards

But I didn’t want my cards to be too serious , so I added the mustache chipboard

and even placed some of them on each other.

My finish step was to add the jewels on the crown. I like how they turned on  in fact.

Hello Maja Friends,

it’s only October on the calendar, however the time flies so fast and soon the most magic time will come. I mean Christmas time and I guess you know, it’s better to start earlier all the preparations.

So I decided to follow this , and created a set of Christmas cards

09.08.17_700x467_4

I used the past collection – Home for the Holidays, so classy and cozy

Home_For_The_Holidays_Cards_By_Elena_Olinevich

My main focus this time were the ornaments that I made using Spellbinders dies.

You can check my video tutorial that I filmed for you

Everything that glitters works great for Christmas projects, I guess it’s a good idea to mix silver and gold together too.

I chose plaid and tiny snowflakes backgrounds for my cards, I like the smooth and mute red and brown colors the paper has in this collection.

I hope you have liked my cards and the tips I shared in the video, and would be happy if you could use them for your Christmas cards.
