I went to an event in Hjärtum, Sweden, a couple of weeks ago to meet up with our fans. We had a Maja quiz, gave away some goodies and chatted with some scrappers. It turned out to be a lot of fun.
Milo and Anna Lilja are two driving spirits that arranges this event twice a year. I met so many talented artists and got so much inspiration. It was a lot of fun to sneak over everybody’s shoulders. Their styles were all so different and the creativity was absolutely flowing.
A big thank you to all the wonderful ladies that made this day so special.

4 Write a commentThe wedding season is here and what a lovely season that is. Our latest Mood Board, based on the Crea Diem collection, is all about love and we hope you find it inspirational.
And here’s a little reminder of what our mood boards are used for…

We are using mood boards for our challenges. We truely believe in creativity and art at Maja Design. You are free to interpret the mood boards in any way you’d like. They are supposed to set you in an inspirational mood without too much controlling. We would like you to be inspired by the poems, words and photos. They are not given rules, they are just there as inspiration. They are all inspired by a Maja collection, but you are free to use any Maja papers you’d like as long as they follow the colour scheme. We highly encourage you to follow the theme of the mood board as well.
We are presenting a new mood board the first Saturday of every month. We will be presenting all participating creations that fulfill the requirements below May 31st. We will also draw a winner who will be winning a Maja Design collection of their own choice in 6×6 or 12×12.
After your creation is done, take a photo and send it to moodboard@majadesign.nu without any watermarks (size 600×600). Include your full name and address in the e-mail together with what collection you would like if you win. Don’t forget to write down if you would like 6×6 or 12×12. We need your creation May 28th at the latest.
We will only publish creations that fullfill the requirements!

There’s a smell of newly baked sponge cake in the air. The raspberries are ready to be harvested and the roses are in full bloom. The bees are busy working the flourishing garden. The white furniture from times of old has been repainted and looks almost new. The sun warms up the last grass straws that are still covered in due. The coffee is waiting in the arbour.
Our latest collection will be a new favourite for our Fika fans. This time we have moved ourselves with our tea cups out in the garden. So sit back, drink some lemonade and let the sun warm your winterlegs while waiting for the collection to reach a store near you.

This months Mood Board has an Easter theme and is based on the Vintage Spring Basics collection.
