059 Hi there! I am back with another card this Sunday. Also this time with the gorgeous papers from the latest Maja Design Collection, Vintage Spring Basics. 064

The image is from Saturated Canary, and is called Liliana. To match the papers I have coloured her in blue and pink colours. And as usual I have painted her with Distress Ink re-inkers and Distress Markers.075

The whole card is made with a GoKreate die. I love the shape! The beautiful large pink flower is from Petaloo, and the white ones are from Kort & Godt. The 15 mm roses are from WOC.093

I have used some DooHickey’s dies from Magnolia for the swirl and heart-tag (So Wrapped Lovely). The frame with the image is made with a Oval Petite Large die from Spellbinders. 099

The paper edges are inked with Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain, and sewed with my sewing machine. Vintage-Springr-Basics-PThe papers I have used are: 2nd of May, 3rd of May and 7th of May.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design Blog. And thank you for the comments you take your time to write to us, you make the day!Camilla-sign

Hi there Maja fans! Isn’t the new collection just wonderful!! I have to admit I have bought some extras from Hjerteboden just to know I have enough of my favorite papers! Today is also my day to host the Maja Design blog. And on my card I have used the Vintage Spring Collection: 2nd of May (bs), 3rd of May (bs), 7th of May004

The image is from Saturated Canary, and she is called Pitcher. I have coloured her up with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.006

I have added some of my favourite embellishments like the painted metal corners, and a doily (almost hidden behind the beautiful papers). The seem binding ribbon is coloured with a home made mist, where I have mixed the Distress ink, re-inkers: Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet (with water). Sprayed it on the ribbon, curled it up, and then let it dry. Behind the image I have also cut out some tickets and a So Wrapped Lovely tag from Magnolia’s DooHickey’s dies.017

The post stamp on the side of the image is from Kort & Godt. I have made the card with a Go Kreate die. All the papers are inked with Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain. If you look very closely on the image you can see that I have added Crackle Accents on her eyes. The beautiful big purple flower is from Petaloo.057

Hope you enjoyed my card for today! Vintage Spring banner

008 Hi all Maja fans! Finally the new Vintage Spring Basic papers are out in the stores, and we can all see and feel the amazing papers! I got them in my mail the other day, and I love them all! Beautiful colours and patterns, and the quality are so good. 007

I have made this card for a Confirmand, and in blue/purple colours. I was so inspired by the butterfly pattern from the new papers, that I also added some butterflies on the card’s left side. The image is from Saturated Canary, and I have coloured her with Distress Inks, and Distress Markers.031 Now it is Easter break for me, and I am heading up in the mountains on a cabin with my husband and parents in law. My plans are to colour some more images, get some tan and read a good crime novel. Wish you all a wonderful Easter!046

The papers I have used for my card: Vintage Spring Basics – 8th of April (both sides), 9th of April.Vintage-Springr-Basics-PTake care!Camilla-sign
