Hi there! I am back with a new card. And I have tried to make a Twist & Pop Card, which is my first time. But I understand that they have been popular some time. It was fun to make one, so you should have a go too!

After making some pinkish wedding projects, I have tried to give this card a more Autumn look. This collection is wonderful for that too.

The Magnolia image is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers and Markers. The sentiment is also from Magnolia. I have cut out the leaves from different Miles Apart papers.

To make this card I have watched Srushti Patil’s tutorial on YouTube, called Twist & Pop Card Tutorial.

Here is how it looks like when it is open. The inside is decorated with yummy Miles Apart papers.

And I have tried to show how it looks like when you close it.

Almost there 🙂

I have painted here and there with white Gesso. In the middle of the sunflowers (and in Tilda’s hair) I have put some liquid pearls. Behind the image there is some cheese cloth.

Some more details from inside of the card. You can decorate it however you want. With images, sentiments ect.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Blog!

Hi everyone! I hope you all have had a lovely weekend. I am back with another wedding creation using the wonderful new collection Miles Apart.

Here is the top of the explotion box, where I have cut out a wedding cake from the Miles Apart paper collection. The dies are from Magnolia. And the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have sewed all the paper around and inside the box. And painted with some white Gesso here and there. On the heart on the top I have added some Stickles.

The text is written on the computer and printed out.

Here is a close up on one of the sides. Look how nice the papers fits together.

The text on the large banner is from Stempelglede.

Let’s open the box to see what’s inside.

All the sides are measuring 10 x 10 cm. And I have decorating them all with more yummy Miles Apart papers.

And here’s the lovely couple, just like the one popping up on a wedding cake. I have painted a stamp from Magnolia with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.

And here is the close up. I just love the way the Maja papers are matching with Distresses.

The roses are from Wild Orchid crafts.

This post is soon finished, but I just have to show you some close ups of the details inside the box.

Also the tags are cut out with Miles Apart papers.

With some romatic texts from Norsk Stempelblad.

Here I have added another pocket to put some tags inside. Here with texts from Norsk Stempelblad and Stempelglede (left).

I wsh you a lovely week to come!

With love,

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you the wedding card I made for an earlier pupil of mine’s wedding. So it was a bit special to be asked to make a card for her. Therefore I wanted to do something extra. So I made both a frame and a book, then put them together. And I had some perfect papers for it! Just love the new collection, Miles Apart.

All sides are decorated with the gorgeous papers. Inside and outside.

On the front you see the frame I made here. The size of the card measure 14 x 15 cm.

The butterflies are cut out from a Maja Design sheet. This from The Vintage Spring Basics Collection, and it is called 6th of May.

Let’s open the book!

The stamps outside are from Magnolia. Inside I have used stamps from Stempelglede.

Inside the pocket on the left there is a paper to write a greeting on.

Here are the papers used:

Hello everyone! I hope you all are fine. It has been a while since I last posted here. As I have started studying again, on my old days 😀 20 years after last time. Anyways, we were invited to a confirmation, so here comes the confirmand bag I made for Patrick. And I am sure you can spot which collection I have used.

Yes! You are right, the wonderful Denim & Friends collection.

I have fastened som e twine around the image. And with this collection you get several of these lovely images, perfect for any boy/youth card. And behind I have fastened a bit of corrugated paper.

And behind all this I have placed a small papebag. Inside the paperbag I have two tags. Where I have stamped texts for the confirmand.

To make a more shabby look, I have painted here and there with white Gesso.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today

With love,

Congratulations

Hi everyone! I hope you all are fine. I am back with a late night card. This time I have made a frame card with the gorgeous papers from the Vintage Summer Basics Collection. The paper you can spot the best on the card is called 1933 (with flowers).

I have painted this Sitting Tilda from Magnolia with Distress Ink, reinkers and Markers, to match the papers. I think both colours and papers fit so well together.

Inside the frame I have cut out a bird house from the papersheet called 1925. The same paper I have used on the base on the card.

The text “Gratulerer” on top of the card is made from a die from Papirdesign, and means “Congratulations”.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have painted the flowers and papers with White Gesso, to give the card a more shabby look.

Under you can see how I have put the card together, as I have first made the frame, and then fasten it to the card.

Thats all from me tonight! Stay safe!

With love,
