Hi there! Not a Christmas project from me today, hope it is ok?! I just wanted to show you the tool drawer I made for a Father’s Day card. I have used the Denim & Friends collection. Here you find papers for every masculine project.

The dies are from Magnolia. As for the image. I have used Distress Ink for my colouring.

To make this I have folded a box, where the sides measures 4×8 cm and 8×8 cm.

The metal frame is from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have painted here and there with White Gesso.

I am trying to find the time to make some Christmas cards aswell, but this weekend I have been baking Christmas cookies. Maybe I will find some time this evening.

This project was also published in the magazine Ett Trykk. Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog!

With love,

Hi everyone! It is Camilla again here, with a pink Christmas card for a change. I made this card for the magazine Ett Trykk’s Christmas edition. And I have used some pinkish shade papers from the gorgeous Vintage Frost Basics Collection.

I have added several layers with the papers, and also used some on to the cute tags.

The text “God Jul” is made with a die from Papirdesign. God Jul means Merry Christmas 🙂

I have made the flowers out of Foamiran sheets and flower dies. I use my heat gun to make them shrink and curl up. Under the flowers I have put some Sisal grass.

The image is from Magnolia, and I have used Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers for my colouring.

The texts on the tags are from Stempelglede. The tags are made with dies from Magnolia. And I have used a Go Kreate die for the whole card.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today!

Take care,

Trick or Treat!

Hi everyone! It is me again, with a new Maja Card! This time I have been inspired by Halloween. When I was a child we never celebrated Halloween, I am not sure if I had heart about it. But in the last years it has been really popular here in Norway too. We also had some “scary” children on out door Wednesday evening asking for Trick or Treat.

I thought the darkest papers from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection would fit nice for a card like this.

The image is from Magnolia, and is coloured with Distress Ink, re-fillers and Markers. The white flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have added some white Gesso and some frantage.

Hi everyone! I hope you all are fine. I am enjoying working with the Vintage Autumn Basics collection. The papers are just so beautiful! I will show you which ones I used at the end of the post.

But first some photos of my tag. It is not always necessary to give a whole card, sometimes a tag can be just as nice to give someone. I have used the tag die from Sizzix for the main tag.

All the other dies I have used are from Magnolia. The image is from Magnolia’s Class Trip Collection 2018. And I have coloured her in matching colours to the lovely papers.

Here comes some close ups of the details on the tag. I have used Distress ink for my colouring.

I have put some White Gesso on to the papers here and there.

Between the layers on the camera I have put som 3D foam. And some Maja papers together with the Raven Bazzill. I think it worked out nicely.

Here is the list of papers used:

Hi everyone! I am back with a paper bag card for a baby. An what isn’t more perfect than to use the cutest baby collection from Maja Design called Vintage Baby!

Behind the image from Stempelglede I have placed a tag from the paper called “Die cuts”.

The words are written on my computer and printed out.

Here you can see the tag inside. I love the teddy bears and the stars on the paper!

Some close ups:

The butterflies are stamps from Stempelglede, and I have coloured them with Distress ink. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. This card was also published in the magazine Ett Trykk for the August issue.
