Happy Friday to you.  This is Jennifer Snyder bringing you a layout and a video showing how I used the Vintage Summer Basics and the Vintage Spring Basics collection together. It’s quite easy to combine these collections making them so fun to use.

This features a photo image of a little boy at a wedding I attended.  I brought my camera and followed this sweetiepie around till I got the pouty look I wanted.  It was not hard and I diid not wait too long.  hahahaha

Here is a video to show how I assembled my page and my thought process behind my choices.  There is also a guest star’s cameo appearance in the video at the very end.    Not to worry – the video is less than 4 min long.  I believe in keeping it short and simple – just to show you quickly the concepts and the execution.

I started with Vintage Summer Basics 1905 BAS-528 for the  background.  It’s a very cool, versatile piece of paper.  I wish I had a few more sheets of this.

528-1905I also used Vintage Spring Basics 3rd of April.

Here are the close ups: I inked some lace and some paper flowers, did a little stamping and a lot of edge inking.  I also added  a piece of chipboard that was inked.

I ripped the paper Vintage Spring Basics 3rd of April by misting with water then gently ripping the paper.  It seems to rip easier and you have more control over the rip when you add a little water.

You can see in the image below a little bit of Vintage Spring Basics -5th of April peaking out from under my inked up lace.
