With the new Sofiero collection it was love at first sight for me. Being a real girly girl, pink still is my favourite colour, so I had a lot of fun making this card with the soft and pretty papers from this collection.
With this card I wanted to show you that you don’t always need a lot of embellishment to create something. Except for two pearls and a chipboard heart, I only used papers from the Sofiero collection. Even the sentiment was cut out from the barcode strip of the “A romantic picnic in the park” sheet.
The papers that I used from this collection are: Strolling down the rose pad-bs, Princess Margareta’s Garden (back and frontside), Exuberance of flowers in bloom-bs, Royal summer residence.
The lovely butterflies are from the Vintage Spring Basics collection. They were cut out of the “6th of May” paper. I used several dies and a border punch to give my card a layered and rich look. Also I have added some dimension to my card by attaching all the pieces with foamtape. Supply list:
