Hello, today I am here to share with you two LO’s,one using the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection & the other using The Walking in the Forrest Collection. I just love both of these Collections!!!
From the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection,I used: No.XIX,No.XIX-BS,No.XX,No.XXI.No.XXI-BS,No.XXII,No.XXII-BS,No.XXIII,No.XIII-BS,Heritage & BS’s of labels.
The chipboard used is from Dusty Attic
Here are some closeups of detail:
Shows some distressed, hand stitched layers. I also did some punch work & layered the leafy scroll over the decorative scroll….
For the blue in the chipboard I used Graphite TA glimmer mist, then rock candy crackle & once the crackle dried I applied perfect pearls mist,(blue smoke) using a brush….
I used Petaloo-Dareeling Collection- Tea stained blues for the flowers on this LO….
I used picket fence crackle,on the under piece of the decorative scroll,& when that dried I rubbed in some brown chalk to bring out the cracks…
The tiny roses are prima. I made a layered distressed heart. I cut a hole in the top piece of the heart, distressed it,then inserted the chipboard piece (marrakesh trellis)into the layers. Then I stitched that together….
Rolled corner,I punched in a eyelet then tied hemp around the roll….
Shows another hole that I inserted chipboard in (cyclone wire)
I love how these to scrolls fit together!!!
Here is my next LO, using the Walking in the Forrest Collection
I used: flannel shirt,jeans, & die cut letters-bs
Here are some closeups of detail:
On the reed heads, I used two shades of brown distress stain, & on the leaves I used 2 shades of green. I then applied DA crackle, let that dry then inked the edges with a brown ink pad….
On the stump the seagull is standing on,I applied a coat of Viva Modeling cream, then stamped it with a BoBunny wood grain stamp.Once the dried I used my ink pad to bring out more of the grain. I used picket fence crackle on the seagulls, & applied a second coat where the wings are….
I also dry rubbed on some Viva modeling cream onto the reeds….
I ripped & distressed a hole, then inserted the piece of DA fish net.,I applied some Viva Modeling pasted & once that dried I rubbed in some brown & blue chalk.I also glued some seed beads into the fish net..
Using some of DA’s seashells into the flower clusters. The flowers are from Petaloo Darjeeling Collection, teastained blues…
On these reed heads I applied a thick coat of crackle, then sprinkled on some micro beads, while the crackle was still wet.I also did some stencil work using The Crafters Workshop 12×12 Confetti & Viva Modeling Cream (Champagne).
Used some fabric in my layers(old Halloween)
Thank you so much for taking the time to look….Rachelle
