Morning Maja friends! Andrea here with you today bringing some Christmas goodness in the form of ‘A Gift For You’ papers…the latest release from Maja Designs. I had some beautiful crochet lace and gingham ribbon that I thought would look lovely intertwined with each other…so here’s the result of my inspiration: I used images from the ‘from Santa with love’ papers and roughed up the edges. The silver holly leaves are from a Christmas ornament that I broke down into its many pieces. Each year after Christmas, I scour the stores for clearance ornaments, usually the ones with lots of details, and use them for parts. It’s a great way to find little chochkies to add to your cards. To the gingham bow, I added a double twine bow and some velvet jingle bells. The edges are a cut up frame from Spellbinders Detailed Scallops set. The original dies did not fit around my card, so I cut out two smaller designs and adjusted them up to fit around the edges. (The back of the card is not so pretty…). Finally, I added some Zva Creative pearls. There is no stamping and the only sentiment is the one on the bottom which is the bottom strip to ‘given from the heart’ papers.
